Nvidia RTX 4000 Ada Generation 不会与 A4000, P4000RTX 4000 图灵一代RTX 4000 是一款功能非常强大的专业显卡,适用于笔记本电脑,拥有 7424 个 CUDA 内核和 12 GB ECC GDDR6 显存。这款显卡于 2023 年问世,采用台积电的 5 纳米工艺和 Nvidia 的 Ada Lovelace 架构,实现了出色的性能和适中的功耗。

硬件方面,RTX 4000 是一款 GeForce RTX 4080(笔记本电脑)的变相。因此,它使用了相同的 AD103 芯片,在 QHD 1440p 下运行三 A 级游戏几乎没有困难。

Quadro 系列显卡的 BIOS 和驱动程序与GeForce 显卡大不相同,主要针对专业用途而非游戏。产品设计、大规模计算、模拟、数据挖掘、24 x 7 操作--如果这些听起来耳熟能详,那么 Quadro 显卡一定会让你满意。

架构与功能

与采用安培架构的旧显卡相比,Ada Lovelace 带来了一系列改进。这不仅仅是更好的制造工艺和更多的 CUDA 内核(从 10,752 个内核增加到 16,384 个内核),还有大量的底层改进,包括更大的二级缓存、通过简化透明和非透明评估实现的优化光线追踪程序以及其他变化。当然,这些显卡可以编码和解码一些最广泛使用的视频编解码器,包括 AVC、HEVC 和 AV1;它们还支持大量 Nvidia 技术,包括 Optimus 和 DLSS 3。

RTX 4000 拥有 58 个第三代 RT 核心、232 个第四代 Tensor 核心和 7424 个 CUDA 核心,比 RTX 3500 Ada 代快了很多。在其他方面,该显卡配备了 12 GB 192 位宽 ECC GDDR6 显存,吞吐量约为 432 GB/s。这里出现纠错电路的事实证明,RTX 4000 确实是面向专业用户的。

与基于安培的显卡一样,RTX 4000 也使用 PCI-Express 4 协议。支持 8K SUHD 显示器,不过,DP 1.4a 视频输出有可能成为系统的瓶颈。

性能

虽然截至 2023 年 8 月,我们还没有测试过采用 RTX 4000 Ada Generation 的单个系统,但我们有大量的性能数据,包括 GeForce RTX 4080(笔记本电脑)的性能数据,这是一款规格非常相似的显卡。基于这些数据,我们对 RTX 4000 的性能充满期待:

  • Blender 3.3 Classroom CUDA 得分约为 22 秒
  • 3DMark 11 GPU 得分为 58,000 左右

Nvidia 的营销材料提到 33.5 TFLOPS 的性能,令人印象深刻。该 RTX 5000 Ada 代的性能略高于 42 TFLOPS,以供参考。

您的选择可能会有所不同,这取决于您笔记本电脑的散热解决方案有多好,以及 RTX 4000 的 TGP 功耗目标有多高。还有一点值得一提,那就是启用 ECC RAM 模式后,应用程序和游戏可用的显存似乎会减少多达一千兆字节。

功耗

Nvidia 不再将笔记本显卡分为 Max-Q 和非 Max-Q 两种型号。取而代之的是,笔记本电脑制造商可以根据自己的需要自由设置 TGP,有时这个范围会大得惊人。RTX 4000 就是这种情况,推荐的最低值仅为 60 W,而最高值则高达 175 W(很可能包括动态提升),高出两倍多。围绕 RTX 4000 构建的最慢系统很容易比最快系统慢 50%。这种差距我们已经在采用最新GeForce RTX 显卡的消费级笔记本电脑上看到过。

最后但并非最不重要的一点是,RTX 4000 所采用的改进型 5 纳米工艺(台积电 4N)可在 2023 年中期实现非常不错的能效。
