Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 是一款高性能台式机显卡。它基于 GA106 Ampere 芯片，配备 12 GB GDDR6 显存，拥有 192 位显存总线。该显卡拥有 3,584 个核心，并支持 PCIe 4.0 接口。
其性能与较早的 GeForce RTX 2070 相当，因此最适合在 1080p 分辨率下以高画质设置运行现代高负载游戏（截至 2021 年）。
GA106芯片拥有3,840个FP32算术逻辑单元（ALU），其中一半还可执行INT32指令（即1,920个INT32 ALU）。而在图灵架构中，所有着色器仍只能执行FP32或INT32指令。 据英伟达称，芯片上的光线追踪核心和张量核心也得到了改进。安培架构芯片还集成了经过优化的第五代视频编码器（NVENC，支持H.264和H.265）以及第七代解码器（现支持包括AV1在内的多种格式）。
GA106芯片由三星采用8nm（8N）工艺制造，其性能表现尚无法完全匹敌台积电的7nm工艺节点（例如AMD采用的工艺，以及用于专业级GA100安培芯片的工艺）。 RTX 3060 的 TDP 规格为 170 瓦，因此略高于前代 RTX 2060（160 瓦）。
