AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840HS 是凤凰系列的一款快速高端笔记本处理器。它基于支持超线程(16 线程)的Zen 4 架构,提供 8 个内核(八核心)。内核频率从 3.8(基本)到 5.1 GHz(单核提升)。处理器包括 8 MB 二级缓存和 16 MB 三级缓存。
与消费级 Ryzen 7 7840HS相比,PRO 型号提供了额外的安全性、可管理性和可靠性功能,专为专业用户和工作站环境设计。
R7 PRO 7840HS 的性能仅略低于最快的型号 R9 PRO 7940HS,因为时钟速度差异很小(如 -100 MHz / 单核心提升速度慢 2%)。因此,CPU 的性能也应略高于旧的顶级型号 Ryzen 9 6980HX(8 个 Zen 3 内核,主频高达 4.9 GHz)的 54W TDP 和 Ryzen 9 6980HS和 35W TDP 的 Ryzen 9 6980HS。与更高端的 Dragon Range 系列相比,7840HS 应与 Ryzen 7 7745HX(同样是 8 Zen 4 核、最高 5.1 GHz、55W TDP、32 MB L3)。
该芯片集成了名为 Radeon 780M的 RDNA 3 图形卡(iGPU),拥有 12 个 CU,时钟频率高达 2.7 GHz。此外,Phoenix 系列还包括一个具有 AV1 de- 和编码功能的视频引擎、一个基于 Xilinx FPGA 的全新XDNA AI 加速器(Ryzen AI),其速度应该比Apple M2 SOC 中的 AI 引擎更快;以及一个双通道 DDR5-5600 / LPDDR5x-7500 内存控制器(支持 ECC)。连接功能包括 2 个可能的 USB 4(40 Gbps)端口和 20 个 PCIe 4.0 通道,用于 GPU 和 SSD。
Phoenix 系列采用单芯片设计(不同于 7045HX 系列的芯片组设计),在台积电采用现代4 纳米工艺制造。TDP 可在 35 至 45 瓦之间配置。
