AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388

AMD Ryzen AI Max 385是一款功能强大的 Strix Halo 系列处理器,于 2025 年 1 月首次亮相。该 APU 配备了 8 个 Zen 5 CPU 内核,主频高达 5.0 GHz,32 CU RDNA 3+ Radeon 8050S 图形适配器和 50 TOPS XDNA 2 神经引擎。其他值得注意的功能包括 PCIe 4、USB 4 和 LPDDR5x-8000 内存支持。

架构和功能

与 Strix Point 不同,Strix Halo 部分采用 Zen 5 核心,这里没有 Zen 5c。目前还不清楚这究竟是具有完整 AVX512 吞吐量的桌面版 Zen 5,还是移动版 Zen 5。根据 AMD 的说法,由于分支预测的改进和其他改进,Zen 5 的 IPC 比 Zen 4 提高了 16%。

在其他方面,AI Max 芯片支持快至 LPDDR5x-8000 的内存,并与 USB 4(以及 Thunderbolt)原生兼容。它支持 PCIe 4.0,每个通道的吞吐量为 1.9 GB/s,就像其 8000 系列的前代产品一样。集成的 XDNA 2 NPU 可提供多达 50 个 INT8 TOPS,用于加速各种人工智能工作负载。CPU 的三级缓存相当大,达到 32 MB。不过,更高端的 390 和 395 AI Max 芯片的三级缓存容量是前者的两倍。

性能

其 CPU 性能应与最快的高通骁龙 X 芯片(如 X1E-84-100)相当。

图形处理

Radeon 8050S 采用 32 个 RDNA 3+ 架构 CU(2048 个统一着色器),可与入门级和中端台式机显卡(如 Radeon RX 7700 XT)竞争。毫无疑问,这块 GPU 可以在 Ultra 上以 1080p 运行任何游戏,但最终的问题是,笔记本电脑的散热解决方案是否足以让 iGPU 大放异彩。

当然,Radeon 能够驱动四台 SUHD 4320p60 显示器。它还能高效地编码和解码最流行的视频编解码器,包括 AVC、HEVC、VP9 和 AV1。与英特尔 Lunar Lake 芯片不同的是,它不支持最新加入的 VVC 编解码器。

功耗

AI Max 385 的功耗最高可达 120 W,具体取决于系统及其 TDP 功率目标,最低 TDP 为 45 W。

截至 2025 年 1 月,CPU 内核采用 4 纳米台积电工艺制造,能效相当不错。
