AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 7640HS 是凤凰系列的一款快速中端笔记本处理器。它基于支持超线程(12 个线程)的Zen 4 架构,提供 6 个内核(六核)。内核频率从 4.3(基本)到 5 GHz(单核提升)不等。处理器包括 6 MB 二级缓存和 16 MB 三级缓存。

与消费级 Ryzen 5 7640HS相比,PRO 型号提供了额外的安全性、可管理性和可靠性功能,专为专业用户和工作站环境而设计。

R5 PRO 7640HS 的性能(多线程)明显低于高端 Ryzen 7 7840HS。 Ryzen 7 7840HSRyzen 9 7940HS的性能(多线程)明显低于更高端的 Ryzen 7 7840HS 和 Ryzen 9 7940HS。与速度更快的 HX 系列相比,TDP 为 54W 的 7640HS 应仅略低于 Ryzen 5 7645HX(同样是 6 Zen 4 核心,主频高达 5 GHz,55W)。旧的 Ryzen 5 6600H凭借改进的架构和更高的时钟频率,应该可以轻松超越。

该芯片集成了名为 Radeon 760M它拥有 12 个 CU 中的 8 个,时钟频率为 2.6 GHz。此外,Phoenix 系列还包括一个具有 AV1 de- 和编码功能的视频引擎、一个基于 Xilinx FPGA 的全新XDNA AI 加速器(Ryzen AI),其速度应该比Apple M2 SOC 中的 AI 引擎更快;以及一个双通道 DDR5-5600 / LPDDR5x-7500 内存控制器(支持 ECC)。连接功能包括 2 个可能的 USB 4(40 Gbps)端口和 20 个 PCIe 4.0 通道,用于 GPU 和 SSD。

Phoenix 系列采用单芯片设计(不同于 7045HX 系列的芯片组设计),在台积电采用现代4 纳米工艺制造。TDP 可在 35 至 45 瓦之间配置。
