Intel 8550U

英特尔酷睿i7-8550U是一款高效的四核SoC,适用于基于Kaby Lake Refresh一代的笔记本电脑和超级本,于2017年8月发布。与其直接的前辈Core i7-7500U和i5-7260U的双核不同,i7-8550U配备四核,但基频较低,为1.8 GHz。Turbo Boost尚未指定,但应至少为3.7  - 4 GHz,因此也提供良好的短期单核速度。GPU现在命名为Intel UHD Graphics 620,但与Intel HD Graphics 620完全相同。集成内存控制器支持DDR4-2400 / LPDDR3-2133和双通道内存。

架构

与Skylake相比,英特尔基本上使用相同的微架构,因此每MHz性能没有差别。制造商仅对速度转换技术进行了重新设计,以便更快地动态调整电压和时钟,改进的14nm工艺允许更高的频率,并且效率比以前更高。

性能

i7-8550U的性能取决于笔记本电脑的散热解决方案以及短期和长期的TDP限制。这导致我们的基准分数差异很大,从英特尔的15瓦参考值到Cinebench R15 Multi基准测试中Inspiron 17-7773的高分相差了23%。特别是在CPU高负荷运行较长时间时,这些差异可能会更高。

在我们通常的基准测试中,i7-8550U与35瓦额定Core i5-7440HQ一样快。对于单线程性能,高Turbo Boost频率有助于i7-8550U实现移动CPU的最高分数之一。

图形

集成的Intel UHD Graphics 620(Intel Gen 9.5)未受到第8代Kaby Lake芯片的影响。凭借快速双通道内存,它可以达到专用GeForce 920M的性能。

与Skylake相反,Kaby湖现在还支持具有10位色深的H.265 / HEVC Main 10以及Google的VP9编解码器。1月份宣布的双核Kaby Lake处理器也应该支持HDCP 2.2。

能耗

该芯片采用改进的14nm工艺制造,采用FinFET晶体管(14nm +),与第7代Kaby Lake处理器相同。英特尔仍指定15瓦的TDP,这是ULV芯片的典型特征。根据使用场景,TDP可在7.5(cTDP Down)和25 W之间变化。
