AMD Ryzen 5 4500U是基于Renoir架构的轻薄笔记本电脑处理器。 4500U集成了基于Zen 2微体系结构的六个内核。它们的频率为2.3(保证的基本时钟)至4 GHz(Turbo),而没有SMT /超线程支持(6个线程)。该芯片是在台积电(TSMC)以现代7纳米工艺制造的,部分原因是AMD宣传雷诺阿(Renoir)芯片的每瓦性能提高了2倍。与类似的Ryzen 5 4600U相比,4500U不提供SMT,但在其他方面却表现十分相似。

在少两个内核的情况下,Ryzen 5 4500U在多线程工作负载中明显比Ryzen 7 4700U和4800U慢。但是,它仍然应该能够击败最强的15瓦Ice Lake Intel Core i7-1065G7(4核,3.9 GHz)。多亏了4 GHz Boost,单核性能应该相似。因此,Ryzen 5 4600U是非常强的15瓦CPU,显然比旧的Ryzen 7 3700U快。
