Apple M4 8-Core

8 核Apple M4是一款 ARM 架构处理器 (SoC)，具有 8 个 CPU 内核、一个 16 核神经引擎和 一个 8 核 GPU支持硬件 RT。该处理器于 2024 年 10 月首次亮相；它减少了效率内核的数量，但值得庆幸的是，它拥有与其更强大的兄弟处理器相同的 4 个性能内核。在短期工作负荷下，后者的运行频率肯定会达到 4.0 GHz 或更高。

这是 M4 家族的第三个成员。它加入了 10 核 M4和 9 核 M4和几个月前发布的 9 核 M4。目前还不清楚这款新芯片是禁用了几个模块的 10 核 M4，还是设计上减少了 CPU 和 GPU 内核的新芯片。

对 SME2 的支持似乎表明，性能内核和效率内核都采用了大量定制的 ARM v9.4a 微架构。M4 配备了 16 GB 或 24 GB 的内置 LPDDR5X-7500 内存以及 Wi-Fi 6E 和 BT 5.3。板载 Thunderbolt 3 和 USB 4，还支持 DisplayPort。

它的性能足以胜任任何日常任务，因为Apple 当前一代的性能内核可提供惊人的单线程性能，而且该芯片拥有 4 个单线程内核。我们预计 M4 的 Geekbench 6.3 Multi 分数约为 12,000 分，Cinebench 2024 分数约为 850 分。

至于功耗，在长期工作负载下，SoC 的功耗可能在 6 W 左右。一旦我们拿到新款 iMac 进行测试，我们将更新本节内容。
