""我的 Apple M4处理器在 iPad Pro机型中首次亮相,但过了几个月我们才得以测试 MacBook 中的处理器。

不过,这次Apple 将同时推出配备全新 M5 SoC 的新款 iPad Pro 机型的 2025 机型和 MacBook Pro 14 的基本机型。

我们对 iPad Pro 11以及 MacBook Pro 14的性能和效率,但现在我们想更仔细地看看最新的Apple 芯片与前几代产品以及 AMD、英特尔和高通公司的竞争产品的性能和效率。

缆线 Apple M5是去年 M4 的后继机型,与 M4 和 M3 一样,再次采用台积电 3 纳米工艺制造。 M3代一样,再次采用台积电 3 纳米工艺制造。在第三代产品中,除了进一步优化外,我们还看到了时钟速度的整体提升。

现在,四个性能核心的主频高达 4.608 GHz(M4:4.4 GHz),六个效率核心的主频为 3.048 GHz(M4:2.9 GHz)。不过,我们对 M5 GPU 的变化知之甚少,除了功耗之外,我们无法读出任何数据。

M5 目前有两个版本,一个是 10 个 CPU 内核(4 倍性能,6 倍效率),另一个是 9 个 CPU 内核(3 倍性能,6 倍效率)。这种性能较弱的变体目前用于新款 iPad Pro 2025.

即将推出的 MacBook Air 的基本机型也可能会采用另一种 GPU 性能较弱的变体。除了时钟速度,内存带宽也得到了提升,我们已经对其进行了测试。

测试系统

我们将新款 MacBook Pro 14 基本型号(配备 10 核版 M5)作为测试系统。

在处理器纯负载情况下,处理器可短暂消耗 30.5 瓦,然后稳定在 27.5 瓦。显卡的最大功耗为 18-19 瓦。

即将推出的 MacBook Air 机型可能会再次采用被动冷却方式,因此性能更多取决于散热条件。

测试程序

为了在不同的 CPU 和 GPU 之间进行有意义的比较,我们除了关注合成基准测试中的纯性能外,还关注功耗,然后以此来确定效率。

功耗测量总是在外部显示器上进行,这样我们就可以排除不同内部显示器的影响因素。

不过,我们在这里测量的是系统的整体功耗,而不仅仅是 CPU 和 GPU 的显示值。

单核性能和效率

通过 M4 代,Apple 已经稳坐单核王者宝座,而新的 M5 则再次提升了这一标准。

在 Cinebench 2024 单核测试中,拥有 10 个内核的 M5 SoC 比 M4 型号快 10-12%,因此比我们数据库中最快的非Apple 处理器(英特尔酷睿 Ultra 9 285K 处理器)快 26-38%。 英特尔酷睿至尊 9 285K台式机处理器快 26-38%。

被动冷却式 iPad Pro 11在 Geekbench 6.5 单核测试中也明显快于竞争对手。

M5 更高的时钟速度也以更高的功耗为代价(7 W - 7.7 W,而 M4 约为 5.2 W),这可以从能效表中看出。

尽管性能提高了,但与 10 核 M4 相比,效率略微降低了 4%。

尽管如此,如果考虑到 M5 MacBook Pro 配备了双倍内存(32 GB 对 16 GB),也会增加功耗,那么整体能效应该处于差不多的水平。

多核性能和效率

多核性能比 M4 处理器平均高出近 20%,因此,M5 可以媲美 AMD 和英特尔最快的 H 级移动处理器,如 酷睿至尊 7 255HRyzen AI 9 HX 370- 一较高下。

英特尔芯片的功耗通常在 45 瓦至 115 瓦之间,而 AMD 芯片的功耗则在 30 瓦至 80 瓦之间。值得注意的是,这些 CPU 需要 70 W 以上的功耗才能达到上述效果。

新的 M5 SoC 还超过了旧的Apple M3 Pro(两种型号)。骁龙处理器在这方面也明显处于劣势。

图形处理器的性能和效率

新款 M5 GPU 的功耗与旧款 M4 GPU 大致相同(18 瓦至 19 瓦),但在合成基准测试中的性能却提高了 25-30%。

新 GPU 还远远领先于 AMD、英特尔和高通公司目前的 iGPU。

在玩 赛博朋克 2077.该游戏现在已经发布了 macOS 原生版本,因此我们现在可以更好地评估其性能(我们使用的是不带 Metal FX 升频的纯性能)。

新的 M5 芯片配备了当前最快的 iGPU(Strix Halo 除外),但它并不比最好版本的 英特尔弧形图形处理器 140VAMD Radeon 890M.

在与旧 MacBook 进行比较时应谨慎对待,因为我们只能在旧 MacBook 上测试游戏的模拟版本,这当然会降低性能。

此外,不同的游戏似乎也存在差异,因为在 博德之门 3(macOS)中,性能明显高于上述英特尔和 AMD iGPU。

结论:Apple 进一步优化 3 纳米芯片,扩大领先优势

Apple 新的 M5 SoC 再次提高了性能。在目前的第三代台积电 3 纳米生产工艺中,CPU 内核的时钟速度再次提高。

因此,它是目前能买到的速度最快的单核处理器。事实上,M5 在被动冷却的 iPad Pro的单核性能超过了英特尔最快的台式机处理器(酷睿 Ultra 9 285K),这一事实令人印象深刻,同时也是对竞争对手的沉重打击。

不过,Apple ,这种性能优势是以功耗的增加为代价的。虽然单核效率与 M4 处理器大致相同(仍明显优于其他竞争对手),但功耗的增加也导致电池运行时间略有缩短。

在日常使用中,M5 经常会在短时间的负载阶段消耗更多的电量,我们在测试新的 iPad Pro 11以及 MacBook Pro 14.从消费者的角度来看,不增加单核功耗可能更合理。

在多核和图形测试中,性能和效率都有明显提高。我们很想知道 M5 Pro 和 M5 Max SoC 将取得怎样的成绩,英特尔能否与 Panther Lake 竞争。
