作为ZBook系列的入门级机型,惠普ZBook 8 G2a 14基于EliteBook 8系列的设计打造。整个机身采用灰色铝合金材质,仅屏幕边框和顶盖内用于Wi-Fi天线的塑料嵌件除外。 机身底座的柔韧性不大,但屏幕可以弯曲得更多一些。
这是一款做工精良的机身,采用单根宽条形铰链。该铰链支持 166 度的开合角度,因此无法完全摊平。 机身无晃动现象,且可单手开合屏幕。这款惠普移动工作站的重量约为1.5千克,比许多其他14英寸级工作站更轻,但比联想ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 AMD版略重。 就尺寸而言,这款惠普笔记本与ThinkPad非常接近,不过ZBook要薄约2毫米。
