打算购买一台续航时间长的Windows平板，而预算不多的用户可以考虑一下惠普Stream 7。如果其他方面也很重要的话，可能就有些难以抉择了：例如，它的相机模组也就勉强算作一般水平，而屏幕尽管很明亮，色彩准确度却略显不足。颗粒感严重的屏幕还十分容易留下指纹，给人的整体印象并不出彩。

尽管惠普Stream 7与众多同类机型速度相当，但我们偶尔遇到了卡顿的情况。我们很欣赏它在低功耗和散热控制方面的出色表现。由于机背采用了纹理表面，这台平板十分易于握持。而说到机背，尽管它的后盖可以打开，但电池粘在了机身上无法更换。

在选购低价平板的时候，对重要功能的取舍是难以避免的。毫无疑问在这类产品中生产商为了降低成本产品都有所缩水。惠普Stream 7的优势在于灵巧的机身尺寸和非常实惠的售价；对性能要求不高的用户或正在寻找一台备用设备的用户应该会对它感到十分满意。

最后剩下的是Windows到底在这么小的平板上究竟是否实用的问题。它的回答应该取决于用户：习惯于Windows电脑、需要丰富可调整选项和设置的用户可能会优先考虑一台Windows平板。而尚不熟悉Windows 8.1，希望购买一台易于上手的平板的用户则可能个适合选择安卓，iOS或开放系统的设备。
