Qualcomm Adreno 420

高通Adreno 420是一款为(主要基于安卓系统的)智能手机和平板设计的集成显卡。它最早发布于2014年中,集成于高通Snapdragon 805整合芯片中。这款显卡采用了名为FlexRender的技术。它可以“智能地”在TBR(Tile Based Renderer,基于区块的渲染器)和传统的直接渲染之间切换。它提供了对OpenGL ES 3.1和DirectX 11 11_2功能级的支持(Adreno 330则仅支持ES 3.0和DirectX 9_3)。


Adreno 420的核心频率根据它所集成于的系统芯片的不同而不同。在Snapdragon 805 APQ8084中,它的频率介于500MHz到600MHz之间。


根据高通提供的信息,相比Snapdragon 800它的功耗在运行GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex时降低了最高20%,但提供了高出40%的性能。最早的一些基准测试成绩显示它在性能上甚至提高了更多;不过,它的性能会在使用中逐渐降低以避免过高的系统温度(特别是在智能手机中)。这对于其他的ARM系统芯片来说十分普遍。不论如何,Adreno 420超越了Mali-T628 MP6 (Samsung Exynos 5420/5430)和 PowerVR G6430 (Apple A7),是2014年年中最快的一款移动显卡之一,但仍然显著慢于Nvidia Tegra K1或在Apple的A8X系统芯片中的PowerVR GX6650(这两款均主要为平板显卡)。
