Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

The frequency of 347.2 Hz is relatively high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering. However, there are reports that some users are still sensitive to PWM at 500 Hz and above, so be aware.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 18071 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 3846000) Hz was measured.

性能 - 酷睿i7-1260P留下痕迹

 

测试条件

处理器

在运行高要求的应用程序时,联想系统能够保持更长时间的安静。例如,当运行3DMark 06时,在第一个基准场景结束时,风扇噪音最高只有33 dB(A),而惠普Spectre x360的风扇噪音则为38 dB(A)或40 dB(A)。HP Spectre x360 14戴尔XPS 13 9310 2合1分别为38 dB(A)和40 dB(A)。然而,在运行这样的高负荷一段时间后,风扇噪音将最终稳定在45 dB(A),对于一台可转换的笔记本电脑来说是相当大的。简而言之,Yoga 9 14在压力较小的任务中能保持安静,但在需要的时候,它也不回避大声说话。

压力测试
