索尼依然坚持自己的风格,继续为其中档手机配备 3.5 毫米耳机插孔和 microSD 卡插槽。不过,在 RAM 和 UFS 内存方面,Xperia 10 XII 也有些 "老派",只有 8 GB 和 128 GB。后者还延续了 USB 2.0 端口,不仅速度慢,而且不支持有线图像输出。我们在使用 M2.SSD 硬盘(三星 SSD 7T)进行的复制速度测试中仅测得 27 MB/s。连接的数据载体不仅可以用 FAT32 格式化,还可以用 exFAT 格式化。但不能使用 NTFS 文件系统。

相机 - 索尼采用混合 OIS/EIS 防抖技术
前代产品的小型 1/2 英寸传感器 传感器在 Xperia 10 VII 中,前代产品的 1/2 英寸小传感器被一个更大的 5000 万像素 Exmor RS 传感器(1/1.56 英寸)取代。由于采用了裁剪变焦技术,可以无损放大 2 倍,但索尼中端手机不提供长焦镜头,这意味着 6 倍已经是极限,而且照片质量很差。
