Bristol Ridge商务本。 惠普的这台12.5寸Elitebook采用了AMD的APU处理器。惠普是目前仅剩不多仍然为商务设备采用AMD处理器的生产商之一。除了APU处理器,它还搭配了一块IPS屏幕,NVMe固态硬盘和LTE模组。遗憾的是,这台笔记本电脑的散热风扇略微吵闹。

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Elitebook 725 G4可以简单地说成是Elitebook 820 G4的“缩水版”。这两台设备在外观上几乎别无二致。725 G4同样搭配了高品质机身和优秀的键盘。它们的价位差别来自相对较便宜(性能也较低)的AMD处理器。

我们测试机型的APU处理器相比它的英特尔姊妹机型明显低出不少。不过,这块APU具备足够的性能满足办公和上网流量所需。作为补偿的是,AMD处理器的集成显卡优于英特尔处理器的表现。

Elitebook 725 G4适合对处理器性能和电池续航需求不高的用户考虑。

这台笔记本电脑在各种使用情况下都几乎不会变热,同时大部分时间都十分安静。但是一旦它的风扇开始运转,它就会发出一种时断时续的呜呜声,在这个问题上它也和姊妹机型完全相同,这完全不应该出现在这个价位的产品中。特别是725 G3820 G3前代机型中就存在同样的问题。

一块极速的NVMe固态硬盘保证了系统的流畅运行。打开这台笔记本电脑的底盖可以更换这块固态硬盘。惠普为这台Elitebook搭配了一块整体表现不错的IPS屏幕。它的亮度、对比度都较高,可视角度也很广,出厂状态就具备不错的色彩还原准确度。

另外,我们的测试机搭载了LTE模组。因此,它可以方便地通过移动网络连接互联网。这台设备的电池续航也十分优秀,不过仍然明显落后于姊妹机型,需要尽可能长的电池续航的用户应该考虑Elite 820 G4。这个机型可以得到长达3年的质保。
