Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

宏碁的17.3寸笔记本电脑可以提供不错的应用程序性能。除此之外,这台笔记本电脑还可以流畅运行一些较老的电脑游戏而不会变得很吵。在较高的负载下它的噪音也控制在了合理的范围内,在发热量方面也是如此。一块高速固态硬盘保证了系统的响应速度,而2.5寸传统硬盘带来充足的存储空间。宏碁为它设计了维护底盖,因此存储设备可以方便的更换。它搭配的键盘并不算是顶级,不过给我们的使用感受还不错。作为17.3寸设备它的电池续航也十分不错。

宏碁Aspire E5-774G是一台成功的家用桌面式全功能设备。

这台笔记本电脑的屏幕整体表现优秀。它很明亮,对比度高,色域覆盖也不错。唯一的不足是宏碁为它搭配了可视角度比较窄的TN面板。尽管这块面板表现不错,但IPS屏幕依然会给这台设备带来更好的使用感受。不过作为桌面式笔记本电脑,这个缺点在大部分情况下还可以接受。
