Reviews for the Vivo X60 Pro

Vivo X60 Pro review: Not just a camera phone, it is an all-round smartphone
Source: Business Standard English EN→zh-CN
Priced at Rs 49,990 (12+256GB), the Vivo X60 Pro is a surprise package, at least for those who did not experience the X50 Pro. It has set the new benchmark for premium-midrange smartphones, considering the number of photography features and updates it offers. The X60 Pro is more than just a camera phone. It is an all-round smartphone with strengths across.

90% Vivo X60 Pro Review: Impressive Camera, Slim Form Factor At The Right Price Make It A Draw
Source: Tech2.in.com English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo X60 Pro is a phone that I think will find a lot of takers, simply because it is priced right. Despite not being the flagship of the series, it manages to sacrifice precious little in the end. I think a value-conscious market like India will appreciate the balance this phone has managed to achieve. Vivo does, however, need to rethink FunTouch OS, starting with the name but more deeply with the inclusion of unescapable paid content and app pushes. Vivo: please start sparing the Pro and Pro+ versions of your phones from this. People have paid extra for a better device, charge them a little more so you don’t have to push this content onto them.

Source: NDTV Gadgets English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo X60 Pro is a good successor to the Vivo X50 Pro, and improves in areas that the latter lacked in. Performance has gotten a good bump thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Photo and video quality are also better than with the predecessor.

Vivo X60 Pro Review
Source: Trusted Reviews English EN→zh-CN
There are lingering question marks over its price and availability so I won't be scoring the Vivo X60 Pro yet, but as it stands this is a unique upper-mid-range/entry-flagship phone with a remarkably stable camera, a highly desirable design and solid performance. It isn't the best-specced phone in its class, however, and for all its camera charms it doesn’t take the best photos. As a value proposition, we suspect it’s going to struggle against the altogether more capable OnePlus 9. But for those looking for something a little different in a rather samey field, it’s a sleek and stylish alternative.

It's among the finest-built handsets that you can get, and the color version we reviewed has an understated beauty that we find very stylish. The AMOLED display is simply gorgeous, the chipset is predictably potent, and the cameras are excellent for most anything.

Review – Vivo X60 Pro: It comes with ZEISS optics
Source: Manila Shaker English EN→zh-CN
And finally – the price. At RM3,299 – the Vivo X60 Pro does seem to be pricy at the time being. As it stands now, the Vivo X60 Pro doesn’t seem like a worthy upgrade over the X50 Pro from last year as I think that there is still a lot of room for improvement on the X60 Pro.

80% Vivo X60 Pro review: An all-rounder with a camera that stands out
Source: The Indian Express English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo X60 Pro is priced at Rs 49,990 making this a flagship level offering for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space. The obvious competitor is the OnePlus 9, which now starts at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 54,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant, but it runs the Snapdragon 888, which is the latest and more powerful processor. If you are looking to spend Rs 50,000 on a smartphone, the vivo X60 Pro is a worthy contender. The camera, performance and battery life are all excellent, and you are getting 256GB storage, which is an added advantage.

Vivo X60 Pro first impressions: Taking the camera game to the next level
Source: Business Standard English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo X60 Pro is a flagship smartphone and it feels just that in every respect. A major downside is that it lacks assured protection from water and dust, so users will have to be extra careful with the phone. While there is no lag in performance, the camera is one area where we would like to dig deeper. We will reserve for now our verdict on the Vivo X60 Pro, as we explore this device further and write about it in our in-depth review.

The X60 Pro is a confident flagship from Vivo that plays to its strengths: a beautiful, lightweight design and strong main camera. You won't get wireless charging or the absolute top-tier chipset, but for many those will be smart sacrifices to make.

78% Vivo X60 Pro Review: In A League Of Its Own
Source: Think Digit English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo X60 Pro is the coming of age for Vivo. This smartphone establishes that Vivo can make a smartphone with an incredible camera stack, as the Zeiss partnership has yielded very impressive results. The new Gimbal 20 stabilisation also works ridiculously well and the overall camera experience is so good that you'd want to take more photos and shoot more videos. Vivo hasn't skimped out on the hardware either, giving you a flagship Snapdragon 870 SoC, 12GB LPDDR4x memory and even 256GB of UFS3.1 storage.

80% Vivo X60 Pro review: The dark horse of 2021
Source: India Today English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo X60 Pro is the dark horse of 2021. Almost no one expected Vivo to come with such a powerful smartphone in India and the smartphone has surprised. OnePlus has made few sacrifices on the OnePlus 9 this year which may force few potential buyers to at least consider alternatives and the Vivo X60 Pro could just be that smartphone. Also, Vivo now has a chance to feed into some of OnePlus’ market share in the mid-premium category with the latter deciding to move towards the premium category.

80% Vivo X60 Pro Review – Familiar yet New
Source: Slashgear English EN→zh-CN
2021 started with a bit of uncertainty, especially for the smartphone market. Has the economy recovered enough to take big risks in new products? Or are consumers still opting to make “safe” purchases of familiar and tested products? The one thing that remains unchanged even with the pandemic is people’s needs for an accessible smartphone with top-notch cameras that can capture their memories in perfect detail and performance that goes beyond its price tag. That’s what Vivo is promising with the Vivo X60 Pro, one of its first to be made in collaboration with famed optics company ZEISS, and we take an intimate look to see if it all checks out.

Vivo X60 Pro Review: Close to being perfect
Source: The Mobile Indian English EN→zh-CN
The Vivo X60 Pro comes really close to being a perfect flagship. It has a great display, top-level performance and some great pair of cameras that help in elevating the experience to new heights. But compared to its main competitor - OnePlus 9R, the Vivo X60 Pro despite being a great device falls short on the pricing because of which it might fail to appeal to the audience.

Source: Gadgets Now English EN→zh-CN
Vivo has launched the X60 Pro at the same price as it had launched the X50 Pro. If you compare it to just that, you find that the company has offered improvements in terms of processor, internal storage, RAM and to some extent in terms of the camera also.

Hands on: Vivo X60 Pro Review
Source: Trusted Reviews English EN→zh-CN
I’ll save my full thoughts for the full review, but it is clear gimbal stabilisation makes a huge difference – though I can’t say I completely love it. Yes, the footage is very stable and this is good if you’re moving quickly. There is an almost faux-look to video and it takes a while to adjust. If your stabilisation seems off then there’s a handy tool to calibrate it.

70% Vivo X60 Pro review: slick design, great cameras
Source: 91mobiles English EN→zh-CN
There is no doubt in my mind that the Vivo X60 Pro has the best design in all the flagship devices I have tested so far this year. It feels extremely premium in the hand and at the same time, it’s been constructed with durability in mind. There is very little to complain about in the performance department apart from the unusual heating of the device during some heavy-ended graphics-based usage. The cameras are also exceptional, especially when you compare the low-light capabilities to some of the competing devices. Apart from that, the X60 Pro’s superlative display matches up to industry standards and packs in all the features that you could possibly want. Could the haptics have been better? Most definitely. The battery life is nothing to write home about and the lack of wireless charging or an official IP rating makes me question the price tag. FunTouch is in a state of improvement and still has some way to go.

80% Vivo X60 Pro Review — Mobile Photography Powered By Zeiss
Source: Pokde English EN→zh-CN
All in all, the vivo X60 Pro was pretty fun to use and it feels premium. Despite that, some may argue that vivo is asking a lot for the device considering that it is priced at RM3,299. At that price, you’d definitely find other flagships that offer a higher-end Snapdragon 888 chip more attractive. Don’t get me wrong though as the Snapdragon 870 is still a powerful SoC, but I just feel that they should offer more for the price.

vivo and ZEISS believe they are ideal partners that go beyond simple unilateral pursuits; in fact, the brands reached a consensus through fruitful communications, series of virtual meetings and mutual site visits, hoping to achieve greatness in this new era. With that being said, vivo and ZEISS will collaborate on an ongoing basis and have established the “vivo ZEISS Imaging Lab” as a joint R&D team and facility. We’re expecting more exciting new developments and mobile photography breakthroughs to come!

Vivo X60 Pro Review: Zeiss Cameras, Batter Than Mate 40 Pro

From the results, as the first finished product of Vivo and Zeiss, the performance of Vivo X60 Pro is also remarkable. In particular, the “Vivo Zeiss Joint Imaging System” is equipped to bring a rich and transparent imaging effect. Of course, this is just the beginning. With the continuous development of cooperation between the two parties, I believe that Vivo Zeiss will continue to promote mobile imaging technology to go further.
