EN→zh-CNPriced at P25,999 for the 8+256GB variant (goes up to P37,999 for the 12GB+512GB), the HONOR 600 lands as a well-balanced midrange option that focuses on the essentials while adding a bit of personality. It delivers smooth everyday performance, reliable cameras, and standout battery life.

EN→zh-CNThe Honor 600 hits some incredible highs given its mid-range price. Its display can reach dazzling levels of brightness, it has some of the most epic battery life on the market, and the power of its AI features even impressed a hardened skeptic like myself. But it’s not immune to some AI jankiness; the awesome AI-enhanced detail of its camera is somewhat undermined by weaker HDR, and its solid chipset produces a little more heat than I’d like. Nonetheless, it’s an accomplished handset in many ways and easily justifies its asking price.

EN→zh-CNOne thing that I love (again) about this phone is the face unlock. It is unlike anything I have previously used. HONOR says in its documentation that it uses 2D face unlock, which I can only assume is a lower version of the 3D Face Recognition that's included in the Magic8 Pro. I found it to be just as responsive. When I pick the phone up, it immediately unlocks, so I only have to swipe from the lock screen. I literally cannot fault it. It seems like it does not require you to point your face to the screen at all for it to recognize you and unlock; it is just super fast. The same can be said of the fingerprint sensor; it is quick. Time will tell if MagicOS 10 slows to a crawl. I think OS slowdowns affect all handsets; the more apps you install and have running in the background, the more it slows stuff down, but MagicOS 10 appears to have a (annoying warning when an application seems to be using a lot of battery (you can disable the global alerts). The tools are there to fix lag and slowdowns.

EN→zh-CNAll in all, the Honor 600 is a good all-rounder with a great display, long and dependable battery life, it's quick to charge, and the main camera produces excellent stills day and night. However, the lack of a dedicated telephoto camera, which appears to be a standard feature in this price segment, and the rather underpowered chipset will likely cost the Honor 600 some sales. Especially last year's Honor 400 Pro, which rights all these wrongs and carries the same price tag.

EN→zh-CNThe Honor 600 is a pretty impressive phone. In some ways, it's squarely mid-range, like in its processing power and cameras. In other ways, it matches or beats flagship devices, such as in its screen brightness. There's really nothing that I dislike about the Honor 600, except for the lack of wireless charging, which plenty of users have yet to adopt anyway. This isn't a flagship killer in the literal sense — the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 won't run intensive games at high frame rates, and the digital zoom can't compete with a real periscope lens. But for the things most people care about, like getting decent photos and not having to worry about battery life, the Honor 600 has a lot going for it.

EN→zh-CNOverall, the HONOR 600 is a great option for users looking for a smartphone that offers near-flagship performance at a more affordable price point. It delivers strong camera performance, impressive battery life, and an exceptionally bright display. However, it does miss out on wireless charging, and the software still comes with some pre-installed bloatware.Still, if you are looking for a device that feels close to a flagship experience without spending flagship money, the HONOR 600 is definitely worth considering. So that wraps up our experience with the HONOR 600.

EN→zh-CNWith both phones having substantial price hikes, it’s clear that HONOR is positioning its number series to make them closer to flagship offerings than premium midrange devices. To the credit of both phones, they do get substantial upgrades–though you’re losing the telephoto camera with the standard 600. The 600 Pro has a more complete set of features, as long as you’re willing to pay close to Php 50,000 for it.

EN→zh-CNSo, after diving into our experience with the HONOR 600, here comes our verdict. On the surface, the HONOR 600 builds on the best qualities of its predecessor…but it left us wanting more. I think HONOR is trying to replicate that release pattern of introducing an all-new model in two years and an iterative improvement in between—the HONOR 600 is the latter. You see, everything else is a really good upgrade like the bigger battery, a stronger build, sleeker design, and a more polished software experience. They almost knew what they were doing until they skipped on upgrading the more crucial parts. The cameras? Carryovers. The performance? Largely the same. That’s not to say they’ve made bad choices, it’s just that they certainly could’ve done better. I mean, the 2024 HONOR 200 had a telephoto camera, why did they even remove it in the first place? Besides, this might just be a whole marketing strategy before our eyes and we don’t even know it.In its own right, the HONOR 600 gives off a strong competition in the upper midrange market, as it always has been.Sadly, as of making this video, we don’t have the pricing info just yet for the HONOR 600 Series. Considering that everything is going up in price lately, it’s getting harder and harder to justify which one’s good or not. If the price is right, then the HONOR 600 is one interesting option out there, especially if you pay attention to camera performance, long battery life, and a good-looking phone. But, if you prefer more raw power, then you might want to look elsewhere.

EN→zh-CNDespite an affordable price tag, the Honor 600 has a lot of strings to its bow. Its camera picks up a bevvy of detail, its battery will last you the weekend, and its bright display makes watching content or scrolling easy under almost any conditions. While there are still a few kinks that need working out, such as its AI features, and heavy gamers might want a little bit more processing power, there is little to fault this phone for. Those wanting something that’s essentially an iPhone with Android underneath should look no further.

EN→zh-CNI have been happy enough with the Honor 600 as my everyday phone. It runs my apps, the battery lasts two days, the design is comfortable to hold, I’m not worried about durability, and the camera is acceptable.I should be saying, sure, it’s a good phone to buy. However, the Honor 600 has made life difficult for itself due to the various software gremlins I’ve already encountered (which makes me think more will arrive the longer I use it) and the irritating way it handles the not-always-on screen. It’s frustrating, as if the software were a little more polished, particularly around calls, and the always-on screen was actually always-on, there wouldn't be any major downsides here. Instead, you’ve got to be prepared for these things, and the chance of other bugs showing up, if you buy the Honor 600. If you’re fine with that, the Honor 600 is a solid mid-range Android phone that has taken one too many side glances at the Apple iPhone’s design.

EN→zh-CNThe Honor 600 is a £549 smartphone. Having used it for two weeks, I feel that the price should be higher; its camera system is as good as most premium models. Its screen is nice and bright. And the battery goes on and on. All powered by a decent Snapdragon processor. It is, arguably, the best budget phone around.

EN→zh-CNThe HONOR 600 is a phone with a clear sense of purpose. It’s slim, refined, and built with the kind of care that tends to show in daily use rather than on a spec sheet. The battery lasts, the display shines, the main camera performs, and the overall package carries itself with a quiet confidence that’s surprisingly rare at this price. If you’re looking for a beautiful everyday phone with serious battery endurance and a genuinely premium feel that won’t push you into flagship pricing, the HONOR 600 is hard to overlook. The missing telephoto and the lack of wireless charging are worth knowing about beforehand, but they’re far less central to the daily experience than everything this phone gets confidently right.

EN→zh-CNThe Honor 600 is a fantastic mid-ranger that feels like a watershed moment in raising the stock of this kind of phone with a stylish finish, excellent battery life and a capable, detailed dual camera setup. We also get a solid OLED screen and reasonable internal power, although for the raised price against the old model, some more grunt may have been nice. The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G provides similar performance, a larger screen and arguably offers a more polished software feel for a similar price for the base 256GB model (the 600 costs a little more), although with the 512GB model, Honor’s price tag is much more appealing.

Comparing the Honor 600 side-by-side vs the Honor 600 Pro, which I already reviewed here on Tech Spurt. These magnificent mid-range smartphones boast a few upgrades compared with the old 400 handsets, but which one is best for you? The more affordable Honor 600, or the Pro with its boosted camera tech and gaming performance? Boasting more compact design for this generation, the Honor 600 is more affordable than many flagship phones and that Pro version, despite boasting impressive specs.

EN→zh-CNThe Honor 600 is among the best mid-range phones I've ever used, often pushing the boundaries of what defines mid-range in the first place. The flagship-grade display and build quality perfectly match the massive battery capacity and fast charging speeds, but Honor really needs to focus on providing higher-quality haptic motors to complete the experience. Likewise, Honor's Magic OS has substantially improved over the past few years, but still offers less UI customization than the competition. Overall, the Honor 600 provides an astounding value and a nearly-flagship-grade experience at a fraction of the price.
