The Asus TUF Gaming A18 is an excellent large-screen gaming laptop with good power for its modest price, alongside solid battery life and a great port selection. Against similarly priced rivals, you are sacrificing some quality in the screen, though. For instance, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 (2024) ups the resolution to 2560×1600 and the refresh rate to 240Hz for an even smoother and more detailed experience, while coming with similar power levels. It does sacrifice two inches of screen size and has much worse battery life, though. If you want a modestly priced but beefy, large-screen laptop, the TUF Gaming A18 is a great choice.
