戴尔Latitude 7440 Clamshell接替了去年的Latitude 7430,引入了全新的16:10机箱设计,同时还对第13代英特尔Raptor Lake-U CPU进行了常规的内部更新。Latitude 7000系列是戴尔的中高端商务机型,与旗舰机型Latitude 9000系列和更注重预算的Latitude 3000和5000系列形成鲜明对比。
我们此次评测的机型为中端配置,配备酷睿i5-1345U vPro处理器、16GB LPDDR5内存和QHD+ 2560 x 1600雾面触摸屏,售价约1900美元。其他选择包括酷睿i5-1335U或酷睿i7-1365U,配备双倍内存或分辨率较低的1200p显示屏。

表壳 - 铝重还是镁轻?
有两种底盘可供选择:亮灰色铝合金骨架或深色镁合金骨架。前者硬度更高,但重量也更重(+200克),但两者的尺寸几乎相同。我们的评测机是镁合金版本,它的刚性肯定不如其他笔记本,如 HP Spectre x360 14或 ThinkPad Titanium.例如,试图扭转底座或盖子,会产生更多的吱吱声。
此外,我们还可以注意到Latitude 7440 的设计存在缺陷。底板的两个前角都有螺丝固定,但边缘中央却没有。因此,底板的前边缘容易弹出,并在材料之间留下明显的缝隙。在这里安装一个简单的螺丝就可以轻松解决这个问题。
由于从以前的16:9改成了16:10,新机型比以前的机型更方正。它也比以前厚了大约半毫米。许多基于消费者的超极本(如XPS 13)都是如此、LG Gram 14或Galaxy Book3 Pro 14等许多消费型超极本都明显更薄,但集成的功能却更少。
连接性 - 不再需要SD读卡器
与Latitude 7420 相比,端口位置发生了潜在的变化。例如,两个USB-C端口现在都位于左侧边缘,而不是两侧各一个。这意味着Latitude 7440只能从左侧充电,这对于某些办公空间来说可能不是最佳选择。

通讯

压力测试

鉴于 Latitude 94407440在设计上冒了风险,而Latitude 7440则采用了核心商务用户能够欣赏的久经考验的物理功能和选项。不喜欢Latitude 9440的 "零格子 "键盘、海绵状点击板或仅USB-C设计的用户会发现Latitude 7440更易于使用,任何可靠的笔记本电脑都应该如此。它甚至配备了500万像素网络摄像头,而价格更高的Latitude 9440仅有200万像素。
