Even after paying a Sub-Rs 11K price tag, you are compromising on the chipset you get which translates into an overall underwhelming performance on the device no matter what you do on the phone. The camera setup is average as well. The battery size is humongous and that is probably one of the biggest USPs on Realme C12.

The Realme C12 and Realme C15's primary redeeming feature is strong battery life, but they both fall short in pretty much every other area. We would have been a bit happier had they been priced lower, like the Realme C11. However at nearly Rs. 9,000 for the C12 and Rs. 11,000 for the C15, we think you'd be better off with phones that try to be better all-rounders.

Price to performance ratio–well considering its price, we don’t have complaints on this device. It is powered with an entry-level gaming chipset good enough for casual gaming media consumption and is still perfect for those who need a device for their online classes. Realme C12 can last up to all day thanks to the huge battery. For the price of P5,990 (3GB+64GB), you can still choose if you want to get the Realme C3 for a better gaming experience but for an overall daily driver, It has a 64GB internal storage which is perfect for installing useful and reliable apps. At a very low price, it is a bang for the buck.

The realme C12 is basically an improved C11 but with the 2MP B&W sensor, rear fingerprint scanner, and 6,000mAh battery of the C15. In terms of pricing, it sits in between the C11 and C15 at PHP 5,990. So, if you’re eyeing the C11 and can stretch the budget for PHP 1K, the C12 is the best option. It’s a great entry-level device for those who want a large screen, decent cameras, and a good battery life.

Overall, the Realme C12 is a decent option to consider if you have a tight budget and can’t spend a penny more than Rs 9,000. The phone has both pros and cons. While in the design, battery and display departments the phone looks good to me, performance and camera are two areas that could have been better. In the same price segment, there are other options available like the Redmi 9.

Realme C12 is a souped-up version of the C11 but only in certain areas. You have an extra 2-megapixel sensor, a large 6000mAh battery on it, and, of course, 1GB additional memory to keep you going much faster than what you could on C11. Realme is asking for Rs 1,500 extra for these three things because otherwise, C12 would be as good (or bad) as the C11.

The Realme C12, along with the Realme C15, seem to be just minor variations of the Realme C11 but positioned strategically to close the price gaps between the C-series and Realme's 6-series. There's also Realme's Narzo 10A, which has some price overlap with the new models. It might not have as big a battery but it does offer a faster SoC. Does the bigger battery of the Realme C12 make it worth the Rs. 8,999 price tag? I will have a clear answer for you once I'm done reviewing it, so stay tuned to Gadgets 360.
