外壳 - Razer Edge 采用大量塑料包裹

Edge 做工精良。磨砂铝边框感觉非常高档,整齐地包裹着显示屏,显示屏由康宁大猩猩 6 号玻璃保护。背面由哑光塑料制成,但会留下指纹。虽然后盖整体非常贴合,但它与边框之间的缝隙可以更均匀一些。背面还有用于散热风扇的排气口。这款平板电脑的防护等级为 IP52,这意味着当机身倾斜达 15°时,它可以防止有限的灰尘进入和滴水。不过,在附带的说明中,Razer 补充说该设备可以在短时间浸入浅水后安然无恙。

microSD 读卡器

microSD 插槽兼容所有传统的存储卡型号。不过,它不支持 exFAT 文件系统,只能用于移动存储。这意味着应用程序不能直接安装在 microSD 卡上,不过你可以进入开发者选项,强制设备允许这样做。

软件 -Android 12,无 DRM 认证

输入设备和操作 - 关注基本要素

Edge 上的电容式触摸屏可同时检测多达十个触摸输入,并能快速、精确地作出反应。Razer 没有提供有关显示屏触摸采样率的任何信息,但我们使用一个应用程序测得的数值高达 380Hz。

在软件功能方面,Edge 还算基本。但至少岸控制器提供了一些额外的功能。除了众多控制选项外,你还可以找到一个 Nexus 应用程序专用按钮和一个截图按钮。

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

如有需要,Razer Edge 将使用主动风冷。当设备运行正常的系统进程时,风扇通常听不到声音或完全空转。但在加载时,尤其是游戏时,风扇会发出很大的声音。尽管声音不会太大(在我们的测试中略高于 41 dB(A)),但在安静的环境中还是会让人分心。如果负载不足,风扇就会开始以脉冲方式运转,有时会非常烦人。
