Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. 华硕GL502VM是一台轻薄型15.6寸游戏本。

强大的硬件使得这台笔记本能在最高设置下运行大部分游戏。此外,英伟达G-Sync使得游戏的帧处理更加平滑,在高负载下,笔记本变得很吵而且外壳明显变热。整体上来说,我们比起GL502VS更喜欢GL502VM。在GL502VS上更强大的显卡有时会超出电源适配器的负载能力,此时会快速消耗电池。幸运的是,我们的测试型号并没有这种问题。

高速SSD保证了系统的良好运行。1TB的机械硬盘为游戏提供了充足的储存空间,而且两块硬盘都可以被更换,但要进行这个操作的话笔记本的底盖必须被移除。雾面IPS屏幕有着出色的广视角和良好的表现。键盘能够满足一般的家庭使用,但打字员应该考虑其他的笔记本。

如果你喜欢更大的型号,可以考虑本测试型号的17.3英寸姐妹型号GL702VM,它运行起来更加安静且发热更低。此外,在GL502VM上所缺失雷电3接口也在我们所评测的GL702VM上得以补足。
