来自三星的心平板电脑设计内敛而考究，机身纤薄且搭配了最新的4:3 Super-AMOLED屏幕。它可以凭借出色的对比度，户外实用性，绚丽准确的色彩轻松击败前代产品。搭配无线ac标准，蓝牙4.1，LTE Cat.6以及指纹识别器的完整功能性也无所畏惧。遗憾的是它并不支持NFC。另外一个优势是它支持电话功能，你可以使用内置的免提通话或耳机。它的内部存储空间是32GB，不够的话还可以通过microSD卡拓展（最大支持128GB）。
这一次它仍然采用了800万像素的主相机，不过它现在可以拍摄图像非常锐利的QHD视频。不过它的照片拍摄质量相比前代产品变化不大，对平板来说十分不错，但很难与优秀的智能手机相媲美。遗憾的是这一代产品不再搭配前代中的LED闪光灯。
它的电池续航时间也有所缩短，根据情况的不同，我们测试机的表现最多只能算是平均水平。另外一个三星有问题的决定是在持续负载下降低处理器的频率。它的性能会受到40%的影响，这对于不高的机身温度来说并不正常。这款设备在这个方面让人无法满意。
三星的Galaxy Tab S2 9.7是一款外观优雅工艺精致的平板电脑，在实际使用中应该可以凭紧凑的机身，轻盈的重量和绚丽的屏幕吸引很多用户。不过，你需要接受它一半的电池续航和持续负载下的降频问题。
