ThinkPad P50s是上一代的ThinkPad W550s的Skylake更新，这也成为了这台移动工作站最大的问题。除了处理器，它并没有什么实质性的改变，你依然无法用到最新的接口（USB-C, Thunderbolt, M.2固态硬盘, M.2-2280）。我们甚至可以直接复制W550的评测总结，因为你会拿到手上的依然是一台缺少处理性能的轻薄工作站。当然这取决于你的需要，当然移动超低电压处理器也不算孱弱，不过我们的测试机甚至无法发挥应有的全部潜能。为什么超极本如ThinkPad T460s可以提高热设计功率限制，而工作站不能呢？联想的不同产品团队显然需要增强交流。

这也把我们带到了ThinkPad P50s的另一个问题前面：ThinkPad P50。由于机身得到重新设计，它提供了所有的最新接口，更强的性能，而噪音散热却有了改善。P50s的优势在于更薄的机身和较轻的重量（包括电源适配器）。不过如果你真的关注便携性的话，戴尔 Precision 5510的地位几乎无可撼动。

ThinkPad P50s仍然是一台不错的移动工作站，但是它相比前代机型几乎没有改进。因此我们很难向用户推荐这台设备——特别是在这么强的竞争之中。

如果你无法享受联想的教育优惠，那么联想和戴尔的设备售价将会十分相近。我们的教育机型的售价为1400欧元（约10172人民币），十分有竞争力，不过你也可以选择售价1440欧元（约10462人民币）的ThinkPad P50。你需要接受稍差的全高清屏幕，不过可以得到更强的性能和更新的科技。

关于最终得分：我们的评分系统在更新之后除了通用应用程序性能分数还包括了设备的工作站应用程序性能得分，这会影响设备的总分。例如P50s在办公笔记本电脑分类中将会得到85%的总分。
