联想的全新ThinkPad 13 Chromebook几乎实现了所有的ThinkPad核心理念。它设计实用，搭配了坚固而符合人体工学设计的机身，有近乎完美的输入设备，同时保证了出色的电池续航时间。同时它还搭配了相当不错的屏幕，强劲处理器和大容量双通道内存则带来了流畅的使用体验。许多这些功能都很难在Chromebook中找到，不过随着平台的逐渐发展应该也会有更多的选择对它发起挑战。
最大的问题还是这些功能是否真的对于一台Chormebook来说有意义，不管怎么说对于这类设备来说至今为止最常见的原则还是实惠和简单。后者对于ThinkPad 13 Chromebook仍然适用，不过考虑到我们测试机的配置——极速酷睿i5处理器和8 GB内存——它的售价则达到了845美元（约5644人民币）。这仅比配置更高的Windows系统ThinkPad 13便宜100美元（约667人民币），而另外这款机型则搭配了256 GB固态硬盘而非32 GB eMMC闪存，它也提供了更好的可维护性。更不用提Windows相比Chrome OS更高的附加价值了；不论Chrome系统如何发展，一些限制如原生打印支持和对很多应用程序的支持都会限制商务用户的选择。
奢侈设备当然是值得赞赏的；不过，在ThinkPad 13 Chromebook的情况下，它的价值有些难以衡量，因为其他同价位的产品几乎都是更全面的Windows设备。
不过仍然对于那些正在寻找一台工艺优良、设计合理、运行迅速而续航持久的设备的用户来说，ThinkPad 13 Chromebook是一个十分不错的选择。如果你可以接受16 GB闪存的话，那么它搭配不错处理器和4 GB内存的更低价机型可能更值得参考。
