The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is a great tablet with a lovely slim design, a huge display and decent battery life. There’s plenty to like here, from the premium, water-resistant build to the smooth software experience. However, despite being an affordable alternative to flagship Samsung tablets, this is still a very expensive device. It costs around the same as the iPad Air (M3), but the performance on offer here doesn’t match Apple’s tablet. Samsung has also opted not to include Galaxy AI for the full suite of AI functions, while Apple does offer Apple Intelligence on the iPad Air. This is a lovely tablet to watch content, casually browse the internet or catch up on the news or your emails, and it is a lot cheaper than Samsung’s flagship tablets whilst still offering an S Pen and solid build. But unless you can snap it up on a good deal, there are better value Android tablets available that are worth considering before you hit buy on this one.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is a great midrange tablet for entertainment, so media enthusiasts can rejoice in its large 13.1-inch display and 90Hz refresh rate. But creators, students, and professionals alike can also benefit from it, especially those looking for an everyday tablet within the Galaxy ecosystem that doesn't reach premium prices. The Tab S10 FE+ is slim and very lightweight. It's also waterproof and comes with an S Pen, making it better suited for portability than other comparable options. You can take this tablet with you almost anywhere and use it for entertainment, notetaking, or work without second thoughts about the elements you'll expose it to.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus is for people who want a premium-feeling Samsung tablet with a huge, beautiful display at a great price. The tablet's 13.1-inch panel really is its key selling point, pairing well with Samsung's class-leading multitasking system, Dex. An included S Pen stylus, and sturdy all-metal construction with IP68 dust and water resistance, adds to the value of this admittedly expensive device. With that said, there are cheaper options out there that outpace the Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus' unfortunately inconsistent performance, both from Apple and other Android brands.

It’s a well-rounded midrange tablet with strengths in display size, battery life, and stylus support. It delivers enough performance for casual use and productivity tasks but falls short in areas like gaming and premium display quality. For users seeking a reliable, feature-packed tablet without breaking the bank, it offers good value. However, those comfortable with buying second-hand might find more power in older flagship models.

And so the question now is – should you buy this tablet? Well… Looking at the price alone, it’s a huge turnoff. For us here in Malaysia, it retails for RM2,799 and the ITFIT keyboard is included as a gift too. If you get the 5G version, then it’s RM3,149. Either way, I do believe that the price is just too high. You can score a better deal in retail scores but it’s not that much lower. And that puts this tablet in a weird position. I do believe that the tablet has an amazing screen with deep black levels and great colors like an OLED sceen despite being an IPS LCD screen. It’s bright enough in all scenarios, and both the high resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio makes it perfect for movies and TV shows.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus with its large display, detachable wireless keyboard and exceptional battery life along with its modest price tag enables it to excel as a general purpose tablet for day to day use for most users.

You can easily tell the Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus isn't a true premium tablet if you try and run any demanding apps, or see the limited number of AI features. But for the size and quality of its screen, its battery life, and the price you'll pay, Samsung's cheaper flagship tablet is a tablet option that could make a lot of people happy, whether you're looking just at Android tablets or at an equivalent iPad Air.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ doesn’t redefine Android tablets, but it succeeds in refining the user experience where it counts. While it doesn't offer the AI amenities of Samsung's pricier flagship line, you still get a big, bright screen, long battery life, plenty of power, and an S Pen stylus, making it a compelling choice for anyone invested in the Android ecosystem. So if you're looking for a tablet that smartly balances performance and price, the Galaxy Tab 10 FE+ is our Editors' Choice.

There are a few key features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus that won’t find on any other tablet at this price. The six years of software support, microSD card slot and robust IP68 rating are all excellent inclusions and set this tablet apart. The problem is that there is another model that offers all these things and it starts £150 cheaper. I’m yet to review the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE but my initial instinct is that it will be more worth your while. The specs are nearly identical, barring a smaller 10.9in display and 8,000mAh battery, and those same shortcomings are easier to bear with a £499 starting price. With a competitor like that in play, I can’t recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus; it’s generally solid and well-rounded but it simply doesn’t justify its high price.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus isn’t the most exciting update to Samsung’s ‘budget’ focused tablet, but it refines the already-solid experience on offer. That includes a bigger screen that’s ideal for split-screen multitasking and making good use of the bundled S Pen stylus, a faster processor and a big old battery capable of lasting anywhere from a day to a week depending on usage. It’s not perfect – the performance is a particular weak point compared not only to similarly priced tablets but those that cost a few hundred less, and the lack of Galaxy AI features is disappointing to see – but for the right kind of person, the Tab S10 FE Plus is all the tablet they’ll need.

This Galaxy Tab feels closer to Samsung’s Fan Edition ethos than the previous one. I don’t miss the deleted secondary snapper and creative types will find the screen usefully bigger than before. It still looks every bit the high-end tablet, and can last an impressive length away from the mains. It’s by no means a powerhouse, so if you don’t need the extra screen space a OnePlus Pad 2 may be a better choice for gaming. The $50/£50 price hike over the outgoing S9 FE+ pushes it further into premium territory, too – although it still undercuts the equivalent Apple iPad Air. But if you’re sold on Samsung’s ecosystem and want as big a display as your budget allows, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is rather compelling indeed.

The specs are mostly mid-range, so I did miss the Dynamic AMOLED display of the Ultra model. It's still a decent screen, even if the contrast isn't as sharp and outdoor use is mixed. Thankfully the speakers on the Samsung Tab S10 FE Plus are still proper bangers. Gaming is possible, if not super-slick on this Galaxy tablet. You've got the same Exynos 1580 chipset that powered the A56 5G phone, so the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus struggles with hardcore stuff. Wuthering Waves runs quite well on lower graphics settings, but it's super juddery when you max out the visuals. However, battery life is excellent, offering almost 20 hours of video streaming or a dozen hours of mixed use from a single charge. So, is this one of the best Android tablets of 2025 at this price? Personally I'd save a bit of cash and go OnePlus Pad 2. But let us know your thoughts below!

This new Samsung tablet is more than adequate alternative to Samsung's flagship tablets and to Apple's similarly priced iPads. Sure, it lacks the raw performance, and features some cut corners in comparison with its competitors, but it has a lot of strengths as well, like the decent camera and speaker quality, as well as the fairly compact design. In terms of pricing, prepare to spend $50 extra in comparison with the previous generation, as the Galaxy Tab S10 FE Plus costs $650 and arrives April 10 in the US. Overall, it could shape up to be a decent tablet for regular use, but at this point, one might start wondering if a flagship Samsung tablet bought second-hand wouldn't be a better deal.
