命名有些奇怪的DTEK50是黑莓为我们带来的可能是目前最安全的安卓智能手机。得到加强的安卓6.0系统在加密模式下运行，不会被篡改指令，只有在bootloader没有被改变的情况下启动。另外，命名类似的DTEK应用会在智能手机中扫描可疑进程，为用户提供改进安全性的建议。生产商的更新计划也展现出了黑莓对于安全性的谨慎。黑莓将会比其它竞争厂商更快地对网络攻击和病毒作出反应，最近已经通过对“QuadRooter”安全漏洞的即使修复证明了这一点。不过，DTEK50依然没有搭配指纹感应器，这让人十分费解。

没有其他一台安卓智能手机可以像黑莓DTEK50一样如此出色地帮助用户防范安全漏洞和网络攻击。
