EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe 2018 MacBook Pro 13-inch is super fast and the keyboard is improved, but the battery life could be better.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe 2018 update to the 13in MacBook Pro isn’t just the best MacBook Pro ever, it’s the best laptop ever, too. It’s pricey, but if you can afford it then you won’t regret it.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe 13in MacBook Pro in 2018 is, thankfully, the best 13in MacBook Pro ever with performance that can compete with its 15in bigger brother. It’s blazing fast, has outstanding build quality and an excellent display. The keyboard is much improved if a tad cramped and the battery life is much better than the lower-end 12in MacBook.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionPerformance is impressive, but it's not the most flexible laptop and any upgrades to the specification send the price into the stratosphere.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe MacBook Pro is a great performance laptop, but it comes at a price that can get ridiculous with various tick-box upgrades. Still, it's a workhorse that delivers on its pro-name promise with style.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionA strong update to Apple’s 13-inch flagship notebook, not least if you look beyond the surface. Still, these changes are all good stuff. Sure, it’d be great to see Face ID on the MacBook Pro, but that won’t happen until a major overhaul. In the meantime, we get plenty of extra power, an improved display, a quieter keyboard, and a battery that gets the machine through an entire day of normal use – assuming ‘normal’ to you isn’t running games and hugely demanding software non-stop.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionWe are pleased that Apple has finally started to offer what can be considered a professional machine in the 13in form. There is no longer such a world of difference between the 13in and 15in MacBook Pro, apart from graphics power with the integrated Intel GPU in the 13in model holding it back.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe price may not have changed since last year, but the 2018 version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro does deliver stronger performance and good battery life, which help to justify its premium price tag. Its slim, lightweight design will also appeal to business users who need a travelling laptop that can provide desktop levels of performance. However, the lack of a discrete GPU remains a weakness in a 'pro' laptop, and suggests that Apple still has some lost ground to make up with its loyal professional users.
