EN→zh-CNA device has to tick several boxes to be a great budget tablet, and the Poco Pad 5G does that. From the really big and bright screen to an excellent pair of speakers, it is as good as any other budget tablet. The addition of 5G connectivity makes it a really practical device, especially for anyone who is looking for a tablet with smartphone-like features. If you are looking for a new Android tablet under the Rs 25,000 price mark, we definitely recommend the Poco Pad 5G.

EN→zh-CNThe POCO Pad 5G is available in two storage options: 8GB+128GB for Rs 22,999 and 8GB+256GB for Rs 24,999. For the price, it’s a great tablet that offers an excellent multimedia experience and dependable everyday performance. It handles most modern 3D games with ease and works well as a workstation for basic tasks. The 5G connectivity is a standout feature, making it versatile enough to be your primary device. Plus, the battery life is impressive — casual users can easily get two days of use out of it. The keyboard and stylus should make the tablet suitable for work and productivity tasks too, but as of now, there are no details on pricing and availability of these accessories.

EN→zh-CNAlright, so should you buy the Poco Pad 5G tablet? Well, in short, yes, because it is a pretty good mid-range tablet. It's got a good high-resolution display with good indoor brightness, it's well built, the performance is not bad, the battery life is pretty good, and you can even play games on the tablet if you like. It offers good value for money. One of its main competitors is the Redmi Pad Pro 5G (Review), but it's priced slightly higher while not offering anything different.

EN→zh-CNThe POCO Pad is a successful debut for the company in the tablet market, and the device has turned out to be impressive. Among its main strengths are the long-lasting battery, the 12-inch display, and the attractive price. However, its software feels too basic for a tablet, and the official accessories are overpriced. Overall, the POCO Pad is a high-quality tablet with a good price-to-performance ratio that deserves your attention.

EN→zh-CNThe Poco Pad has been launched in a couple of markets so far - the Philippines, Turkey, Japan, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia to name a few. It costs $330, comes with 256GB storage and the 33W charger ships inside the box. These are enough reasons to choose it over the Redmi Pad Pro, which sells at the same price but in 128GB and without a bundled powered adapter. Unless, of course, you need a tablet with cellular connectivity/GPS as only the Redmi Pad Pro offers that. We do hope Xiaomi decides on expanding the Poco Pad availability, because it is an incredibly good tablet for a price that is hard to turn down. It has a large LCD screen with high resolution, high refresh rate, 68B colors and Dolby Vision support.

EN→zh-CNThe Poco Pad is a decent affordable tablet that offers one of the biggest and best displays for its budget. This 12.1-inch 120Hz IPS LCD makes for a very good media experience. Performance is decent, but this is no gaming machine, despite the Poco branding. Meanwhile I am still not enamoured with Xiaomi’s software, which could use a little tablet optimisation. Poco F6 Pro phone users might be interested in the Interconnectivity features – they’re a little raw, but they work.

EN→zh-CNThe Xiaomi Poco Pad is a great option for anyone looking for a reliable Android tablet that won’t cost too much but will do most things well enough. For less than £300, it offers a generously sized 12.1in display, a high-stamina battery, usable main camera and uncomplicated software, providing a rewarding overall package.

EN→zh-CNTo conclude, the POCO Pad offers impressive value for money. For just PHP 15,999, the POCO Pad brings an enjoyable viewing experience along with powerful performance that’s superior to other contenders in its price range. It even includes a couple of surprising features like a headphone jack and a microSD slot to boot. The tablet only falls short with camera capabilities and some software hurdles. But for the most part, the POCO Pad is a fantastic first effort from the company. It’s ideal for anyone who wants both PC-level productivity and a satisfying media consumption without breaking the bank.

EN→zh-CNThe Poco Pad is an interesting first try at the tablet market for the Poco brand. The company managed to find a good balance of features for the price, and for a price range that is not overcrowded currently—i.e. $200, $500, and higher. At the same time, the tablet fits well within the Poco ecosystem, not really replacing the higher-performing phones from the brand, while offering a good experience for watching movies and TV series on the go. And the integration with other Poco/Xiaomi devices makes jumping between them rather seamless—not on the same level as Apple, but on par or better than Samsung. In the end, the Poco Pad is a solid option for the $300 price range. It should be near the top of the list for Poco users, but even other Android users will be well served by it.

EN→zh-CNPriced at PHP15,999, the POCO Pad offers excellent value. It provides strong performance for gaming and productivity, a good display, and decent camera quality. Despite some shortcomings, like the lack of an OLED display and faster charging, our overall experience with the POCO Pad has been very positive. If you’re considering a tablet, the POCO Pad is a strong contender worth trying.

EN→zh-CNThis is Poco’s first tablet, and I think that the company was able to deliver a very compelling device. The design is nice, the build quality is solid, the display is good, the speakers are great, the performance is smooth, and the battery life is decent. It’s an overall solid device, and it’s more than worth it for the price. If you’re a person who’s looking for a great device for some work, play, or other needs, I recommend you give the Poco Pad a try.

EN→zh-CNAll told, I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by the Poco Pad X1. It offers the sort of convenience and capability you’d want from any tablet. And to my mind is one of the best bang-for-buck iPad alternatives on the market. If you want an Android tablet that offers a lot of versatility, so that you can switch between work mode, media consumption, gaming or even casual creativity, you can do it all with this, especially if you go all in on the pencil and keyboard accessories. Sure it could be a little less laggy, have better cameras and sound, but at this price, it’s difficult to fault.

EN→zh-CNSo, that wraps up our review on the POCO Pad X1. We're glad to say that it's a favorable pickup, with nods to its performance, battery life, and immersive audio. Our gripes with the tablet are pretty minimal, which include the bigger POCO logo change and absence of Circle to Search. Come to think of it, the real bummer here is the tablet stepping away from the 3.5mm port and expandable storage. Still, the pros very much outweigh the cons. The design change is subjective, plus we're optimistic that the Circle to Search function will get resolved sooner than later. The tablet itself runs smoothly on most occasions, comes with great uptime, and provides a well-rounded audio-visual experience. Well, we've made it to the end, but unfortunately, we didn't have the official price of the POCO Pad X1 at the time of writing. For reference, the POCO Pad was priced at PHP 15,999, so readers should expect it to be within this range.

EN→zh-CNThat's a complex question with no easy answer. At $349 (early bird price), the Poco Pad X1 looks like a decent deal. The chipset is snappy, the screen is bright and crisp, and there are a slew of accessories that can transform this tablet into a productivity machine. The bad news is that these accessories cost extra, the Floating Keyboard, albeit awesome, costs $199, and the Focus Pen will set you back another $99. In the end, the whole package ends up pushing $700, and for that amount of money, there are better options out there.

Reviewing Xiaomi's POCO Pad X1, an upgraded version of their original budget tablet with similar specs to the Redmi Pad 2. Performance has been boosted for gaming and the battery life is great, but is the 11-inch POCO Pad X1 your best affordable Android tablet option? Well, if you want to stay productive on the go (student perhaps?), this is a strong rival vs the Honor Pad V9 and OnePlus Pad Lite. You've got a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 on board, which can happily cope with multi-tasking and handle games too. Even Wuthering Waves was playable on the Xiaomi POCO Pad X1 in my testing. Battery life is dependable while the IPS screen is sharp and pumps out natural colours. Of course, this isn't one of the best tablets for movies, with that 3:2 aspect ratio. But films still look and sound great (with Dolby Vision and Atmos support).

Poco has two "new" tablets. I put the word new in quote marks because we have seen the hardware before somewhere... Still, even if these are rebranded devices, they're excellent tablets for their price, especially the Poco Pad X1, a flagship level tablet that is a very capable productivity machine.

EN→zh-CNSo as you might have already realize, I am speedrunning through this review. And that is actually because we have already reviewed this tablet before in the form of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro. Yes, they’re 99% identical to each other, with the exception that the POCO Pad M1 has a charger included, and also different default wallpapers. The specs on paper are identical. I’ll just repeat the same thing again – the tablet is actually fine. The only issue is that for demanding games like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Wuthering Waves, the frame rate is going to be low because of the render resolution. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 just can’t handle it and there is no option in the settings menu to change that. If you’re playing less demanding titles like COD Mobile, then it’s actually not a problem. Otherwise, it’s a great tablet for the money.

Pricing as follows of $329 but the early bird price is $279. The accessories are $99 keyboard, the $29 cover and $69 fro the Pen.

EN→zh-CNWhile being able to rifle through the parts bins of other Xiaomi sub-brands certainly helps, the Pad M1 is still a sterling effort on the level I’d expect from Poco. This doesn’t feel like a truly budget tablet, with styling, build quality and battery life that place it more towards the mid-range. While the screen, cameras and chipset give the game away, there’s still enough oomph here that it gets my recommendation over the similarly affordable OnePlus Pad Lite. Whether you should pick one over the equivalent Redmi – if it’s sold in your country – solely depends on which is cheaper when you head to the checkout.
