Absolutely. The Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition is compact and light, its 1080p is bright and colourful, it’s fast, and even has an excellent keyboard and trackpad. And somehow, the laptop is affordable and accessible at Rs 36,999. After using the laptop for a week, I am happy with the Mi Notebook 14’s performance. If you are buying a laptop for your kid and cost is important for you, the Mi Notebook 14 e-Learning Edition can be a great option. It is a good value for money, provided the machine is designed to deliver basic laptop needs.

I would definitely have liked at least one USB Type-C port, an SD card slot, a faster NVMe SSD, and a backlit keyboard, but I think the package is reasonably well balanced overall. The Horizon Edition (Core i7 variant) is of course faster and sleeker, but it's more expensive by around 33 percent, which makes the standard Mi Notebook 14 well worth considering.

Starting at around Rs 43,999, the Mi Notebook 14 offers pretty much the same configuration and experience as it does on the higher-end variants of the device. As such, for the sake of making any buying decision easier, we're going to recommend the entry variant of the device as opposed to the upper-end MX250 dedicated GPU variant.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 can be your pick if you are looking for a laptop in the price range of Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000. The device comes with an Intel Core i5 processor and also performs quite well. It comes with a matte finish display and also enables users to enjoy casual gaming. The only things missing out is a backlit keyboard and an in-built webcam. But it is still better as compared to the other laptops which offer Core i3 processors in the price segment.

The Mi Notebook 14 leaves a good impression initially with its full metallic design, the Full HD matte finish display is yet another interesting trait. The battery life is outstanding, runs as much as 10 hours. The combination of the Intel Core i5-10210U with the discrete Nvidia Geforce MX 250 is great for a price of Rs 49,999 not to mention you get a faster 512 GB SSD storage instead of a mechanical HDD.
