即使我们假设遇到的工艺品质问题并不是整个生产线的问题，它仍然反映了联想的质检存在漏洞。我们认为这不应该出现在一台售价1500欧元（约11116人民币）的笔记本电脑中。除此之外，我们还希望它可以有和同系列其他产品相仿的稳定性。需要用两只手打开的屏幕上盖可能在长时间使用中变成很烦人的一件事。
ThinkPad的标志性特性则依然是它的优势，如出色的输入设备，完善的安全功能，两块大容量电池，以及高速的性能、迅捷的固态硬盘，都保证了用户流畅舒适的使用体验。
比较中的同类产品至少都得到了87%的分数。惠普EliteBook 840 G3（TN屏幕）略轻略薄，速度也稍快一些，不过它的屏幕较差。得到89%高分的戴尔 Latitude E7470在摄像头上略逊一筹。它更便于维护升级，在输入设备上也可以和测试机相媲美。联想自家的T460s更轻薄，但也更贵，同时搭配了几乎相同的键盘，只是键程略短。除了略微紧张的工作内存，T460存在的问题都和它的IPS屏幕相关。
