不过Windows 10升级只是等式中的一部分。Pavilion x2 10同时提供了十分吸引人的IPS LED触控屏幕，尽管分辨率较低但提供了优秀的亮度和对比度，和它相搭配的是提供了清晰音效的实用扬声器。它的键盘相比同价位设备品质更高（尽管尺寸较小）。它的性能与所采用的Intel芯片组和eMMC闪存相匹配，不过电池续航依旧保持在了出色的水平上。它同时提供了对高速802.11ac无线网络的支持，而变形设计可以满足各种情境的需求，可分离式的键盘也让它可以作为纯正的平板电脑使用。而经常被忽视的一点是，它相比竞争对手的一大区别是可以运行完整的Windows系统。
需要非常简单的多模式设备，而对Windows操作系统的全面功能无所谓的用户，也同样可以把它列入参考名单，假如可以接受它的一些缺点的话。
当然，它也有一些缺点。x2的塑料机身品质可以用脆弱来形容，相比很多最新的Chromebook都不算优秀。它的接口数量十分有限，除了常见的micro-HDMI和耳机接口外只提供了一个USB 2.0接口。而有限的存储空间让安装大型软件变得很难甚至完全不可能，这也会随着时间推移变的更加严重，一个额外的microSD卡槽可以稍微缓解这个窘境。
同时，尽管它的配置可以满足基本用途的需要，但超过这个层次的硬件需求的程序将会告诉用户，尽管搭载了完整的Windows操作系统，但并不是所有事情它都能够做到。Chrome OS相比之下的优势在于简洁所带来的灵活性，而尽管Windows 10在这方面有所改进，但依然对低价便携本来说有些力不从心，这可以在屏幕旋转速度和开机/系统恢复的速度看出来。
不论如何，Pavilion x2 10-n013dx帮助扩展了由Chromebook和安卓平板所占据的入门级设备市场。需要简单而全能（搭载Windows操作系统）的多模式设备的用户如果能接受我们所提到的一些缺点的话，值得考虑一下这款产品。
