Reviews for the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra

100% Motorola Edge 30 Ultra review: talkin’ ’bout a resolution
Source: Stuff TV English EN→zh-CN
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra feels as complete a flagship as the firm has produced in years. The previous-gen model had most hardware boxes ticked, but this one-ups it with superior fast charging, a huge pixel count camera, and a more streamlined design that elevates it above Moto’s more wallet-friendly models. You’re getting almost everything you’d want from a high-end phone, only without the stratospheric price. Waterproofing and expandable storage are the only real grumbles, with slimline software and slick multitasking modes going a way to make up for it. As an alternative choice to the usual big hitters, it’s a seriously tempting one.

84% Motorola Edge 30 Ultra review
Source: GSM Arena English EN→zh-CN
But for all that's not quite up to scratch, there's a lot to like about the Edge 30 Ultra. Outside of its video peculiarities, the camera system doesn't have glaring flaws, so long as you didn't expect miracles from 'the first 200MP camera'. The display is bright, fluid, and just the right amount of adaptive; battery life is top-notch where that display is involved, and charging speed is among the fastest we've seen from standard USB PowerDelivery peripherals. The Moto is rocking a nicely complete software package, too - stock look, custom features, PC-like capability, and 3 OS updates. All things considered, the Edge 30 Ultra gets a cautious recommendation from us. It's not the best value, especially not in Europe at MSRP, where the Galaxy S22+ is offering more bang for as much buck, but the right discount down the line could very well tip those scales. In India, on the other hand, it's looking like a proper deal.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra First Impressions: Checking All the Boxes
Source: NDTV Gadgets English EN→zh-CN
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra's competition currently includes smartphones such as the iQoo 9T 5G and the OnePlus 10T 5G (Review), both of which also use the same Qualcomm SoC. We also have slightly older devices from this year such as Xiaomi's 12 Pro (Review). The Edge 30 Ultra manages to hold its own thanks to some unique features that aren't available on other competing devices such as the 200-megapixel camera, a 144Hz OLED display, and an official IP rating. At the Rs. 59,999 sticker price, Motorola appears to have given everything one could hope for in the Edge 30 Ultra, on paper anyway, but can all of these features deliver a better flagship experience? Stay tuned for my full review which will be out soon on Gadgets360. Motorola also launched its new premium mid-range smartphone, the Edge 30 Fusion, and you can read our first impressions of it right here.

Moto Edge 30 Ultra initial review: Hands on with the 200MP camera phone
Source: Pocket Lint English EN→zh-CN
As flagship phones go, the Moto Edge 30 Ultra certainly ticks all the right boxes on paper. It's got a top tier processor, lots of RAM and storage, a high-refresh HDR10+ display and strong-sounding camera system. Motorola's problem with the Edge 30 Ultra might not be a problem with the phone itself. Instead, Motorola has built a reputation for building good, affordable budget and mid-range phones and so its flagships are something of an unknown entity. It has a released a couple in recent years, but they haven't really set the world alight with enthusiasm. What we like most about the Edge 30 Ultra is actually its design. Moto didn't join other manufacturers in releasing a heavy, flat-edged premium device. Instead, its curving on the front and back mean it's nice to hold and feels a lot more compact than it is. Combine that with super fast performance, 144Hz refresh screen and stupidly quick 125W charging and you get a highly capable phone that's not a burden to carry and use every day.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra hands-on review: Will Moto’s latest be its greatest?
Source: Expert Reviews English EN→zh-CN
It's too soon to tell whether or not the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra can live up to the promise shown in this brief hands-on – the figures are certainly impressive, but only testing will show if all those megapixels and milliamps will have the goods where it counts. The same can be said for the Fusion and the Neo, with the issue there being whether they’ve jettisoned too many quality-of-life features to stand out in the mid-range market. Still, there’s a lot to like about these phones at first glance, and we’ll be digging into the rest in the coming weeks to find out if there’s anything to be concerned about. Check back soon to see our full reviews, and which of the Edge 30 devices we think is the best value overall.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra preview: Motorola enters the flagship battle stronger than ever
Source: Phone Arena English EN→zh-CN
For many years now, Motorola has either been avoiding the flagship phones scene completely, or faint-heartedly dipping its toes and failing to make a noticeable dent. It seems, though, that there is a new light in the tunnel — the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra! Unlike the Edge Plus (2022), the Edge 30 Ultra has much more going for it when it comes to justifying its premium price tag that starts at 899.99 euros. From a brand new design that gives the phone a slick and smart look, to high-end specs making it work as a 2022 flagship should.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra hands-on review
Source: GSM Arena English EN→zh-CN
The high-end segment could use some spicing up and the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has potential to do so. The 200MP main camera will help the marketing team, but it can prove useful too - more thanks to the sensor's size and what the binning can bring rather the sheer resolution. The telephoto camera reach is rather short, but there is a tele at least, and the autofocusing ultrawide is a most welcome sight. Of course, the 144Hz display is a nice touch, we just need to see how it fares when it comes to brightness and color. The 125W charging is similarly eye-catching on paper but that too needs some level-headed testing and let's not forget battery life. We're expecting solid performance from the latest Snapdragon, and we got nicely stable results under prolonged loads too from past Motos - particularly nice if you're going to make use of the desktop PC functionality of the Edge 30 Ultra. We'll elaborate on all these and more in the full review, so stay tuned.

大尺寸可以让屏幕有更高的分辨率。因而例如字体等的细节将会更丰富。不过另一方面,小屏幕的功耗会较低,而设备也会更轻盈小巧,售价更低。
