EN→zh-CNIf you like the idea of Apple's MacBook Pro but want that premium design, strong overall performance and lengthy battery life in a Windows machine, the OmniBook Ultra 14 is the move I'd make. Choose the Snapdragon X2 model for better general performance and better battery life, or opt for the Intel Core Ultra system for better 3D graphics capabilities and no Windows-on-Arm compatibility worries. It's nice to have both options in one great design.

EN→zh-CNOverall, I think the HP OmniBook Ultra is my new favorite Windows 11 PC in 2026 so far. It's beautiful, powerful, energy efficient, and features most bells and whistles that you might want on a flagship Windows laptop in the current year.

EN→zh-CNThe HP OmniBook Ultra isn’t perfect. The glossy OLED panel can be reflective. The port selection feels limited. And buyers considering the Snapdragon version should still double-check compatibility for specialized software. But beyond those concerns, HP has created something genuinely impressive. The display looks fantastic, performance feels quick, battery life is strong, build quality is excellent and the overall user experience feels polished. Most importantly, it doesn’t feel like an AI laptop pretending to be a premium ultrabook. It feels like a premium ultrabook that simply happens to have powerful AI capabilities. And honestly, that’s probably the biggest compliment I can give it.

EN→zh-CNFurther, there’s the AI side of things. I’m not one for AI features, but HP hyped up some of the AI tools it’s shipping, like a new posture detection system that will notify users if they slouch or tilt their neck. Ultimately, though, the Omnibook Ultra 14 is shaping up to be a very impressive laptop and a contender for one of the best of 2026. I’m excited to see what else HP is cooking up with its laptop hardware for this year.

EN→zh-CNLike most laptop-makers, HP had a ton of announcements at CES 2026. At the top of its lineup are the new OmniBook Ultra and EliteBook X, and the company was kind enough to send some pre-production units to sample. Sorry, but that means no performance testing. HP did refresh pretty much its entire OmniBook lineup though, from the entry-level 3-series all the way through the Ultra.

EN→zh-CNThe HP OmniBook Ultra 14 stands as a premium ultraportable that gets most things right. It offers a sleek and sturdy aluminium chassis, an excellent 3K OLED display, fast PCIe Gen5 storage, respectable battery life, and enough performance to handle demanding productivity and content creation workloads. What makes the OmniBook Ultra 14 particularly interesting is how it balances portability and performance. At this price point, it faces competition from offerings such as the ASUS ZenBook S16 as well as HP's own OmniBook X 14. However, if you're looking for an elegantly built Windows laptop with a stunning OLED display, excellent everyday performance, and strong portability credentials, the OmniBook Ultra 14 is easy to recommend.
