The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold is a refined continuation of an already strong foundation. The brighter displays, Tensor G6, expanded 30x zoom, improved AI experience, lighter build and faster wireless charging are meaningful additions. But some of the biggest changes are incremental, and the benchmark performance is surprisingly lower than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold despite the newer processor. For existing Pixel 10 Pro Fold owners, the upgrade is difficult to justify unless the newer AI features, brighter displays and 30x zoom specifically appeal to you.

That being said, it's remains the only foldable with an IP68 rating, have relatively solid cameras for a foldable, and offers a couple of small but nice improvements from last year's model.

I have to admit, this is a difficult section to write. On paper, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and maybe even the standard Z Fold 8, are better than the Pixel 11 Pro Fold in nearly every way. The Ultra is $200 more, but it’s thinner, faster, has better battery life, and takes full advantage of the big screen. That being said, I do prefer the size and shape of the Pixel 11 Fold. It feels more familiar in my hand. It’s too early for me to say if I’ve been converted to the Z Fold 8’s passport shape, but at least I know the tall, skinny form isn’t for me. I also still find myself gravitating toward the Pixel software despite all of my criticism.

After trying both, the Razr Fold and Pixel 11 Pro Fold feel quite similar. They each retail for $1,899 and are less technically impressive than the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, but they're the ones that are a joy to use. The importance of magnetic Qi2.2 25W and IP68 durability on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold can't be understated.
