Galaxy J3 (SM-J320F/DS)看起来像是去年的Galaxy J5经过重新设计的Galaxy J5 (2016)的缩水版本。优秀的AMOLED屏幕和类似的设计很明显是出自较老的姐妹机型。它依然可以让用户方便的更换电池。另外，这台设备搭配了坚固优质的塑料材质机身。它的其它优势还包括了准确的触控屏幕和长时间续航。两个SIM卡槽和一个micro-SD卡槽可以同时使用，可以给用户带来不少方便。

用户需要在相机上作出让步。我们的测试机搭配了品质一般的800万像素主相机，它只能在光线充足的环境下拍摄效果不错的照片。而且，在出厂状态下它只有4.35 GB的可用存储空间，在实际使用中应该会十分紧张。幸运的是，Galaxy J3支持USB OTG，应用可以移动到存储卡中，这应该可以缓解一部分存储空间的问题。尽管它搭配的Spreadtrum处理器在我们评测中表现垫底，这个缺点在日常使用中很难察觉到：这台测试机在使用中基本不会有卡顿延迟。
