Acer Swift Air 14 review: This $699 MacBook challenger holds its own
Source: PC World
EN→zh-CN
Save for that annoying keyboard bug, I liked my time with the Acer Swift Air. That doesn’t mean I’d recommend it to everyone. For the basics — Office work, some light web browsing — it’s sufficient, and the battery life is outstanding no matter what the price tag says. There’s going to be a class of people who immediately turn up their noses at any laptop with 8GB of memory.

The Acer Swift Air 14 is a budget laptop redefined
Source: It Pro EN→zh-CN
We'd argue that the Acer Swift Air is a more important budget laptop than the Apple MacBook Neo. With a considerably longer battery life, larger display, a keyboard backlight, and a USB-A port, it's certainly more usable on a day-to-day basis. We've yet to test Dell's new XPS13, but given that prices for the general public start at £899 in the UK, a full £200 more than the Acer Swift Air and MacBook Neo, it's already at a handicap.

You’d need to be completely out of your tree to expect a better laptop for £699 than the little Swift Air 14. Everything about it is much, much better than you could realistically expect for the price.
