Acer ConceptD 5 (CN515-51) review – great screen in a pretty body, but is it good enough?

As the ConceptD 5 (CN515-51) is the least expensive ConceptD laptop, it excels in the display department. In fact, it has one of the nicest panels found on a laptop. Well, if you are not a gamer of course. What is more important for content creators and Web designers is the color accuracy, and the overall ability to display color, which this laptop does at a great level – it covers 100% of sRGB and 100% of Adobe RGB. Additionally, we have found that the embedded Adobe RGB preset from Acer outputs the most accurate image with a dE below 2.0.

Acer ConceptD 5 initial review: A-grade ideas?

As we said up top, the Acer ConceptD 5 is a great idea. Maybe having the word 'concept' in the name was a mistake, though, as this laptop indeed feels like a working idea rather than one that delivers in every regard.
