SwitchBot Hub 3 现可与经Apple Home 认证的产品配合使用，并增加了新功能

SwitchBot has announced two updates for the Hub 3. Firstly, this smart home hub, which was released earlier this year, is now a “Works with Apple Home” product. This is the first device of its kind from the brand to earn the badge, with the Apple Home integration now said to be ‘seamless’.

Alongside this, the SwitchBot Hub 3 (curr. $119.99 at Amazon) has also gained a new Smart Schedule feature. This tool provides an intelligent way to manage the climate control system in your home. There are five customized temperature modes on offer: Home, Away, Sleep, Comfort and Custom. For example, the Away mode, which can be triggered via the SwitchBot Motion Sensor, could ensure that your AC is switched off or in low power mode until you return home.

Also included is a Manual Hold function, allowing users to override the Smart Schedule temporarily. Plus, after 14 days, users get a recommended Smart Schedule, tailored to their needs based on data from the two-week period.

Support for the Smart Schedule feature for the Hub 3 is currently in beta testing, launched through the SwitchBot app version 9.13 update. Available for iOS and Android, this release also brings a change for users of the brand’s Pan Tilt Cam Plus 2K and 3K with a Cloud Storage subscription; the home page camera view now supports live photos for events.
