OPPO Reno 12 5G was launched recently with an elegant design. OPPO added several outstanding features like an AI eraser, AI recording, AI writer, AI avatar, beacon links, etc, which are the latest in the Reno series. Its camera performs very well in different environments. Its curved display gives it a stunning look, and when you use it without a protective cover, it feels skinny in your hand. I used the Sunset Peach colour, and I really liked it. Its powerful processor gives a strong performance and makes it normal in every condition. So you will not have any heating problems with it. Its battery life is also good, and adding more beauty, it’s fast charging with an 80W charger.

While hardware is a major deciding factor in buying a new device, we also believe that good software is just as important to maximize a device’s full potential. So if you’re after a midrange phone that is well-balanced in both hardware and software, the OPPO Reno12 5G is a good choice.

Oppo Reno 12 Review – Budget smartphone with 50MP sensor

On paper, there’s a lot of good specifications on offer with the Oppo Reno 12. For a budget smartphone, to have a 50MP main sensor is pretty good going. The fact it’s joined by a mediocre ultrawide and a terrible macro lens is a shame, but not wholly unexpected at this price point. With the main lens, you can get some nice results. If you have a lot of blue and green in a scene, watch out for overprocessing and whacked up saturation, but otherwise the images are nice enough. Overall, this is a good phone at its price, but right now there are generally better options out there. Take a look at the Google Pixel 8a, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite and depending on the market you’re in, the Tecno Camon Premier 5G.

As innovative as it is, the choice of chipset remains one of my biggest gripes with the device.
