If you’re looking for a tablet to get some work done with or to play games, you don't want the Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab. But if you're looking for a tablet to watch movies and stream music on, and you like to use Google Assistant, the Smart Tab becomes a lot more compelling, with more functionality than you'll get from a dedicated smart display. If you're looking to spend less, the Amazon Fire HD 10 provides much of the same functionality for half the price, although it doesn't look or sound quite as good.

The Yoga Smart Tab with Google Assistant is easy to use as a smart display and sports an atypically ergonomic style, thanks to the large rounded edge on the tablet and the built-in kickstand. The built-in stereo speakers offer good quality audio. Pricing starts at $250 but, unfortunately, the tablet struggles with heavy tasks.

I honestly didn't expect to like the Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab so much. Sure, I knew it was going to be another Google Assistant smart display, and I do enjoy those. I particularly like Assistant smart displays for the Google Photos integration, because they serve as a way to show meaningful photos that tend to get buried under thousands of memes in our camera rolls.
