80% Infinix GT 30 Pro Smartphone Review

However, the GT 30 Pro performs well as a daily driver for photography enthusiasts—at least in well-lit environments—while ultra-wide shots do suffer somewhat and can look lacklustre compared to the full breadth of the 108 MP camera. That said, for a phone geared toward gamers, the Infinix GT 30 Pro offers more than adequate camera performance. Ultimately, the Infinix GT 30 Pro may not be for everyone, but if you are looking for a gamer-focused device that doesn’t break the bank or want the best screen for your money, it’s hard not to recommend the GT 30 Pro.

Gamers who love immersion: This phone is for you. The triggers, lighting, cooling accessories, and power management features combine to offer one of the most complete mobile gaming setups under $350 USD (₹26,999). If you want a phone that feels like part of your gaming lifestyle, this one delivers. Performance chasers: Skip it. If you live and breathe AnTuTu scores, this isn’t the phone you’re looking for. Everyday users: You might like it, but you also might not. The design is polarizing, the camera is just okay, and some of the gaming features won’t matter to you. For general use, other options offer more balance. The GT 30 Pro isn’t trying to please everyone. And that’s its strength. In a world of safe, average mid-range phones, it has a clear identity. It’s a niche product with mass appeal for the right crowd. If that crowd includes you, there’s a lot here to enjoy.

74% Infinix GT 30 Pro review: 120 FPS gaming on a budget
Source: Think Digit English EN→zh-CN
The Infinix GT 30 Pro is a great choice for budget-conscious mobile gamers. At Rs 24,999, it offers smooth gameplay, handy shoulder triggers and a flashy gamer design. While the battery life is just average and the display favours vibrancy over colour accuracy, these trade-offs are minor given its overall value. If gaming is your priority and you don’t want to spend a fortune, the GT 30 Pro is a strong contender in the mid-range segment. Mobile gaming has exploded in India over the past few years, and it’s no longer just about playing casually. People are getting competitive, joining tournaments and even building careers around it. As a result, phones are evolving to match this demand, and what was once exclusive to premium gaming phones is now making its way to the mid-range segment.

82% Infinix GT 30 Pro Review: A pocket-friendly gaming phone with capacitive triggers
Source: The Indian Express English EN→zh-CN
Gaming phones are often associated with premium price tags, but with mid-range phones getting better and faster every year, gone are the days when you had to spend a ton of money to play the latest and greatest Android titles. Infinix recently launched the GT 30 Pro, a mid-range gaming phone with a unique design and capacitive shoulder triggers, a feature rarely seen in this price bracket. I have been testing the phone for about two weeks, and here’s what I like and don’t like about Infinix’s latest gaming phone.

88% Infinix GT 30 Pro Review: A Budget Gaming Beast That Punches Above Its Weight
Source: Exhibit.tech English EN→zh-CN
The Infinix GT 30 Pro stands out for budget gamers, offering impressive performance, features, and style at an affordable price. With a 144Hz AMOLED display, responsive shoulder triggers, customizable RGB lighting, and effective cooling, this device excels in mobile gaming. However, it has some drawbacks, the camera struggles in low light and the GPU can throttle under heavy loads. Competitors like the Poco X7 Pro offer better performance and software longevity but miss out on the GT 30 Pro's gaming-centric features. Overall, for gamers on a budget, the Infinix GT 30 Pro delivers an excellent gaming experience for under ₹25,000. It’s not perfect, but it comes close to being the best in its class. If gaming performance combined with style is what you need, this phone is a solid choice.

Infinix GT30 Pro Review
Source: Yugatech English EN→zh-CN
The Infinix GT30 Pro is a great budget gaming phone that punches above its weight. With a starting price of just PHP 13,999 for the 8+256GB variant, you definitely get your money’s worth. For reference, the 12+512GB variant we have retails for just PHP 15,999. If you want the Gaming Edition variant, the 8+256GB model retails for PHP 14,999, while the 12+512GB model is priced at PHP 16,999. Even at this price, this is still very affordable considering what the GT30 Pro can do.However, it’s far from being a perfect all-around phone. While it is great for gaming, the cameras are lackluster. There’s also a lot of bloatware, and there are some heating issues when not using the cooler.

80% Infinix GT 30 Pro review
Source: GSM Arena English EN→zh-CN
The Infinix GT 30 Pro is an interesting offer and a generally well-positioned device on the current market. It is budget-friendly and is clearly geared towards a more gaming crowd. It's not half bad as a gaming device in some aspects, like its versatile capacitive side buttons, excellent and bright display and pretty decent, even if not particularly crisp, stereo speaker setup. The battery life isn't half bad either, and you also get bypass charging. The Dimensity 8350 is far from the most powerful chip in the price bracket but still holds up well in benchmarks. Unfortunately, its GPU buckles under pressure and thermal throttles more than we've seen on other phones with the same silicon.Other things about the GT 30 Pro could ideally be better, too, like the spotty high-framerate gaming support, the fact that you only get two major OS updates.

70% Infinix GT 30 Pro review: Top choice for gamers under Rs 25,000?
Source: India Today English EN→zh-CN
The Infinix GT 30 Pro has genuinely impressed us. It’s not a perfect phone, but it’s clear that Infinix has all the right ingredients. For under Rs 25,000, the GT 30 Pro is a solid smartphone, especially for gamers. It offers customisable GT Triggers, a neat and bloat-free UI, a bright display, an attractive design, and a good camera setup. On most days, a single charge is enough to get through the day. All in all, the Infinix GT 30 Pro is a budget gaming phone worth considering.
