EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionA screen among the best in the ultraportable arena makes Huawei's 13.9-inch MateBook X Pro a tempting Windows ultralight alternative to Apple's MacBook Pro, but the 2019 model might not be the bargain the 2018 edition was.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe Huawei MateBook X Pro (2019) is an otherwise excellent ultrabook that’s undermined by a poor battery. Unless you’re going to be working somewhere with mains power close by, or you’re OK with lugging around a portable battery pack, I’d approach this MacBook Air alternative with caution.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe new Huawei MateBook X Pro is a fine laptop that manages to outperform its predecessor … but not nearly enough to make it worth the upgrade – much less the outright purchase for newcomers.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionAnnounced at Mobile World Congress this year, Huawei's new MateBook X Pro includes the same 91% screen-to-body ratio that it had last year, along with a 13.9-inch 3,000x2,000 display. The internals have been upgraded, as you'd expect, with Intel's new Whiskey Lake CPUs and Nvidia's GeForce MX250, replacing Kaby Lake R and the MX150.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe MateBook X Pro for 2019 might look the same as its predecessor but there are a number of upgrades here including better performance and battery life.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionA few minor upgrades don't make the MateBook X Pro a massively better ultraportable - but it was a damn good one already. If you want a powerhouse Windows laptop that you can carry anywhere, it's still a great choice.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionAll this is part of the company’s new and updated PCs. The existing Huawei MateBook X Pro is being updated, while the new MateBook 13 and MateBook 14 are being released to the market.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe latest MateBook X Pro is just as impressive as the one that came before it, if not more so with increased power throughout. This update should maintain the laptop's pole position, but won't be an essential upgrade for existing users.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionAt a first glance, the MateBook X Pro 2 feels like an iterative update from Huawei, but new Whiskey Lake CPUs and more powerful graphics, not to mention plenty of style, could make this a hit – if the price is right.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionOn the one hand, this is a pretty boring spec refresh of last year's model offering a bit more processing and graphical power.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe MateBook X Pro for 2019 very much looks like the return of the king. This was a great laptop in its former guise and with a few power tweaks, Huawei has made sure that the hardware hasn’t expired.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThe new MateBook X Pro is titled the same as last year’s model, so you may have trouble telling them apart if you’re looking to pick one up. In fact, the chassis is almost identical to last year, with the exception of the logo on the top of the device. While the original MateBook X Pro had the Huawei logo embedded into the top of the device alongside the name, the new model removes the logo and leaves the name only. The primary differences between the MateBook X Pro from this year and the model from last year are the internals.

NVIDIA GeForce MX250:
