EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionThere is no doubt that the Acer Iconia Tab 8 has a lot to offer in terms of hardware and performance. The main advantages are the quad-core Intel Atom processor and the full high definition display. Additionally, the quality of the construction is also quite decent with an okay camera that is not designed for professional use but will adequately suit the needs of most users.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionAt $199, the Iconia Tab 8 looks, on paper, like it would be a decent deal for an 8-inch Android tablet. However, it doesn't last long enough on a charge, and the screen is too dim. While not as powerful, the Dell Venue 8 offers a brighter display and much longer battery life for the same price. If you can live with a lower-resolution screen, try the ASUS MeMO Pad 8, which lasts even longer on a charge.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionIt seems like you can't have it all when it comes to inexpensive full HD 8-inch tablets. The Acer Iconia Tab 8 has impressive multitasking performance for its $200 price, and its premium looks and feel sets it apart from the generic plastic exteriors that dress countless inexpensive tablets on the market. But we still recommend Dell's Venue 8 (2014)$149.99 at Dell for its better display and more reliable performance.

EN→zh-CN Archive.org versionAcer's new more premium Iconia Tab 8 or A1-840 FHD tablet does bring a much better design and feel to their tablet lineup while carrying a very reasonable price. It is nice to see them upgrade the display and processor for a better experience and higher performance but it still falls a bit short from the competition.
