The POCO M6 Pro 5G offers an impressive package with its blend of performance and features at an affordable price point. Its capable processor, 5G connectivity, and substantial battery life make for smooth day-to-day usage. While its camera performance could have been better, it’s good enough for the asking price. Overall, the POCO M6 Pro 5G is a solid choice for budget-conscious consumers seeking a balanced smartphone experience with future-ready connectivity.

The POCO M6 Pro closely emulates the Redmi 12 5G in almost every aspect. This similarity even extends to the pricing, where the base 4GB RAM variant of the handset is priced at Rs 10,999, while the 6GB RAM option sells for Rs 12,999. The Redmi 12 5G naturally emerges as the direct competitor to this smartphone. Furthermore, the M6 Pro faces competition from the Infinix Hot 30 5G, a device featuring a substantial 6,000mAh battery and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC. In contrast, the POCO M6 Pro boasts a distinctive dual-tone design and the latest 4nm mid-range Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, a competent performer in almost every aspect. The handset also delivers exceptional battery life, and its primary camera performs decently in daylight conditions. If these qualities resonate with your preferences and you find yourself gravitating towards Flipkart over Amazon, then the POCO M6 Pro is undeniably a worthy option to explore.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G delivers on what it promises – an affordable 5G phone experience with reliable performance and solid battery life. It democratises the technology for the masses, and being the most affordable 5G smartphone in the market, it doesn’t cut too many corners – making it a decent, well-rounded experience. You’ve got a massive battery, a large 90 Hz display, and an eye-catching design. The misses in the camera and charging departments can be forgiven for the overall package the POCO M6 Pro 5G provides.

If you are on a really tight budget and want a good 5G phone, then the Poco M6 Pro might be your best option right now. At Rs 10,999, it starts at a lower price than the Redmi 12 5G, although with lesser storage. It also comes with a slightly more edgy design, and well, those software update assurances are a handy bonus. There are some who would simply term this as a 4 GB/ 64 GB version of the Redmi 12 5G, and we can see where they are coming from. We think it is a great option for consumers who find even the base Redmi 12 5G a little out of their reach or maybe just want more RAM and storage at a lower price – even the 6 GB/ 128 GB version of the Poco M6 Pro has a slightly lower price tag than its Redmi 12 5G counterpart. Yes, there are other phones in the mix, too, most notably the recently launched Samsung Galaxy F14, but we really think the budget 5G star wars right now is in the attack of the clone mode. We cannot see consumers complaining. We are not.
