The ThinkPad E490 scores with a quiet or silent operation, very good input devices, simple maintenance options, and a long battery life. In addition, the device stands out with a good price-performance ratio. The test unit that was made available to us can be purchased for slightly more than 700 Euros (~$780; currently $678 in the US for a similar model).

Well, this year, Lenovo has definitely upped their game with the battery life and now it reaches more than 10 hours of web browsing and around 9 hours of video playback.
