The Acer Chromebook 715 is perhaps the current pinnacle of Chromebooks. With a sleek and sturdy build, excellent keyboard, and powerful hardware, it is easily one of the best Chromebooks on the market. Additionally, Android app integration and a built-in Linux virtual machine (still in beta) finally make Chrome OS feel like a fully-fledged (though piecemeal) operating system.
The Acer Chromebook 715 is perhaps the current pinnacle of Chromebooks. There's a lot to like about Acer's Chromebook 715; a snappy processor, a lovely keypad - with a dedicated number pad - and premium-ish extras such as the fingerprint sensor. Then again, the screen is absolutely woeful and you should expect more from an £899 laptop - £17 more gets you an Acer Travelmate X5 and a much brighter, richer display.

Acer has a winner on its hands. The Chromebook 715 delivers strong performance, thanks to its Intel Core i5 processor. I really like the fingerprint sensor, and I appreciate the inclusion of a number pad. And lasting over 10 hours on our battery test is no small feat. The notebook's MIL-SPEC-tested aluminum chassis looks premium and can take a minor beating.
