对于上网浏览，文字处理和多媒体播放等日常应用，T300 Chi凭迅速的响应都能完美胜任。用户会对它纤薄的设计、大容量内存和12.5寸的WQHD屏幕爱不释手。它的HDMI接口和MicroSD卡槽让它的平板更加适合作为家庭多媒体设备使用，且无风扇的设计更加适合观看电影。它附带的键盘底座的使用感受比不上标准笔记本键盘，不过在功能性上无可挑剔。在游戏方面它只能满足一些要求较低游戏的需要如DOTA 2，因为在负载下它处理器和显卡的加速性能有所降低。
底座和平板之间的磁性连接优劣并存。尽管它让插拔变得更加容易，但平板在底座上不太稳定，且底座需使用单独的电源。这也让平板无法获得额外的接口，第二块电池，或额外的硬盘，由于这两部分之间没有实际的数据接口。例如来自惠普和联想的变形本都从底座获得了更多的SUB接口，读卡器，低音炮和更多额外功能，例如Split x2和联想Miix 2 10。
相比这款话说设备，商务用户可能会更倾向于选择Surface Pro 3 ，因为这款设备没有配备WWAN或GPS功能，也不支持手写笔。由于电池容量较小，它较短的电池续航也会成为移动用户的一大困扰。由于这些原因，T300 Chi并没有作为商务设备推广，不过需要一款多用途Windows平板，会偶尔在户外使用的用户应该会对它十分中意。
