搭配键盘的戴尔 Venue 10 Pro 5055是一款做工精良的便携Windows 8.1二合一PC，不过它的推出时间正逢Intel Atom系列处理器更新换代之际，用户对老版的Baytrail-T架构可能会有些失望。戴尔选择不采用可以支持64位操作系统和提供更高性能的高端Z3795处理器，让它可能难以与微软Surface 3相抗衡。正是因此，微软Surface 3的性能更加全面。

它的键盘相对尺寸来说十分优秀，而平板也相对更加坚固耐用而飞轻薄便携。考虑到可选的手写笔，硬盘加密和BIOS安全选项，以及出色的屏幕亮度，它应该可以成为一款非常适合移动办公以及工业生产环境的设备。MicroUSB接口充电（例如在车中）也回是一个优势，尽管充电速度不快。它的硬件十分适合学生的需要，不过在处理器和显卡性能方面的欠缺让它难以完美应对所有的应用。
